Site Down?

I am unable to log on to or find the usasexguide site. Does anyone have any information about this site has it completely gone away or just simply having problems. I know that it was under a big denial of service attack a few months back and they had resolved those issues but it seems impossible to even find it with an internet search so I was curious if anyone had any information sorry to post this here but I can't find anything about it with a general internet search on any number of search engines. If it would be more appropriate you may send me a private message if it is not suitable to post that information here. Sincere thanks MJ

It’s been that way for a few days at least. It seems like it comes and goes. I usually check back every once in a while and I am able to get on. I don’t know what’s going on with it. But keep trying, it will work eventually.

Yeah I haven’t been able to get on it for about a week or so either.

You can get on it, just have to google it with the city you’re looking for and use the google link. For some reason the main homepage won’t work.

A couple of months back they had been under attack from right wing groups overseas who don't agree with the object of the site. I suspect the inability to access it at this time is from some of the same sort of hacking attacks. Hopefully they can get everything sorted out and get the site available in the future. If I hear anything new concerning a way to access site I will post it for all the members but for right now it still presents the same information of bad gateway. MJ

Here is what works for me. When you get the 502 error , in the search bar remove everything to the left of the U in the web address then hit enter.

Thanks for the tip unfortunately that doesn't work for me. I am using the Yandex browser and I've never had any trouble in the past because of the browser that I'm using. I also continue to try it with all available search engines and the results is still the same 502 bad gateway Angie. Oh well maybe they'll get whatever is wrong fixed before long otherwise I guess this site is just dead for me! MJ

Okay so I did some research and a 502 Gateway error is about 99.9% of the time a problem with the site itself. Upon looking at several internet sites that check the status of a particular URL it does show that the USA sexguide.nl is up. Coupling that with the information about the 502 Gateway error what can cause that error is if the site server is overwhelmed. This can happen when there is a ddos (denial of service) attack. This is likely what is going on. This happened a few months back hopefully they can find a solution before too long. The site seems to be working but because of excessive traffic because of this attack it is largely unreachable! MJ
