The charge he was brought up on earlier this year, carried a maximum penalty of 4 months in jail. It was a minor misdemeanor under NC law. She DID order that he undergo psych evaluation- -but due to backlog, there is no guarantee that it had happened. His mother begged for him to be involuntarily committed-- but NC laws are so difficult in that regard that it also hasn't happened.

Not a very intelligent question. My opinion stays the same. Trump is a politician who will use any Tragedy to his own advantage.

In this case he’s playing to his MAGA base which is overwhelmingly white, christian evangelical, over the age of 65 and a member of a pro gun group.
