Mass Shooters come in all shapes and sizes.
I refer you to Phoenix Ikner and the mass shooting at Florida State University on April 17 of this year.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2025_F...rsity_shooting
Phoenix Ikner, born Christian Gunnar Eriksen, a dual American-Norwegian citizen, and the stepson of a school reserve deputy from the Leon County Sheriff's Office. Ikner obtained the guns used in the shooting from his step-mother.
Ikner was also a member of the sheriff's office's Youth Advisory Council from 2021 to 2022. During his later years, Ikner espoused white supremacist, far-right and homophobic views causing him to be kicked out of a political group at TSC. He also advocated for President Donald Trump's agenda and was fascinated with Austrian dictator Adolf Hitler and Nazism. He frequently argued with people over politics and joined hate groups. Ikner used a drawing of Hitler for an online gaming account and named another account Schutzstaffel.
I found this after a cursory search online. I am sure it wouldn’t be difficult to find other mass shootings by conservative individuals.
But the point is that violence occurs on both sides of the aisle and for various reasons. Blaming one side over the other is not only counterproductive it’s also just not true.
