Immigration Reform - Trump Gold Card (and Platinum coming soon)
This is Trump's idea of immigration reform...
https://www.foxnews.com/us/trump-lau...rnment-website
Here it is
https://trumpcard.gov/
The Trump Gold Card is a visa based upon an individual’s ability to provide a substantial benefit to the United States. To apply, an applicant must pay a nonrefundable processing fee. Once an applicant’s processing fee is received, the process for visa adjudication will take place, assuming applicants submit additional documents in a timely manner. If approved, an individual must make a gift of $1 million, which has been determined to provide sufficient evidence that the individual will substantially benefit the United States.
The Trump Corporate Gold Card is issued to a corporate sponsor for one or more of the sponsor’s employees. To apply, the corporate sponsor must pay a nonrefundable processing fee per employee. Corporate sponsors may apply for multiple employees at once. A $2 million per employee gift upon completion of the employee’s vetting is evidence that the employee will substantially benefit the United States. The advantage of the Trump Corporate Gold Card is that corporate sponsors may cease sponsoring one employee and use the gift contribution tied to the prior application as a basis for sponsoring a new employee without a new $2 million gift. The Trump Corporate Gold Card is subject to a small annual maintenance fee and a transfer fee.
COMING SOON...the platinum
Sign up now and secure your place on the waiting list for the Trump Platinum Card. For a processing fee and, after DHS vetting, a $5 million contribution, you will have the ability to spend up to 270 days in the United States without being subject to U.S. taxes on non-U.S. income.
Oh, relating to the Trump lies thread...
President says immigration initiative will reduce taxes and pay down national debt
Uh huh....
Do the math (Donald can't)

Note: while I think the Gold and Platinum cards are bs, just reporting and commenting on the following. At this time, neither in favor of or opposed.
Add in $100K/year for H1-B visas.
Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said “all big companies” are on board.
Musk? I suppose the Trump/Musk bromance is really over.

I’m opposed. The Trump of 10 years ago probably would be too. Unfortunately as he gets older he’s letting the crazies like Stephen Miller call more of the shots, similar to what happened to Biden. It’s part of the MAMA plan. Make America Mediocre Again. You take the world’s best and brightest who come from places like China and India and send them home. Or never let them in in the first place. They should be expanding the program, allowing for more people to enter under H1B’s..

GEEZ....the Trump administration can't even tell the same story twice.
H1-B visa fees...
Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick
Quote:
"The company needs to decide... is the person valuable enough to have $100,000 a year payment to the government?
|
Lutnick said this multiple times...
White House spokesperson Karoline Leavett
Quote:
“This is NOT an annual fee,” she said. “It’s a one-time fee that applies only to the petition.”

More Trump 'math'
Today we are proud to announce THE TRUMP GOLD CARD. The Card will be available for $1 Million Dollars for individuals, and $2 Million Dollars for Corporations. For far too long, we have had millions of Illegal Aliens pouring into our Country, and our Immigration System was broken. It is beyond time that the American People, and American Taxpayers, are benefitting from our LEGAL Immigration System. We anticipate THE TRUMP GOLD CARD will generate well over $100 Billion Dollars very quickly. This money will be used for reducing Taxes, Pro Growth Projects, and paying down our Debt.
How many 'Trump Gold Cards' will have to be sold to generate $100 Billion Dollars?
$100 Billion Dollars won't even close the deficit...never mind pay down debt.

In Trump's own words.....“the worst of the worst.”...“dangerous criminals”, right?
Agree those need to go...but is that really the focus of all Homeland Security/ICE efforts?
Are we really getting the bad guys?
