Default House Resolution Honoring Charlie Kirk: Who Voted NO?

https://www.yahoo.com/news/articles/...ycsrp_catchall

So 55% of house Democrats would not vote "YES" on a resolution honoring Chartlie Kirk. Some voted "present", some recorded "Not Voting" and some voted "No".

This should become a big deal in the run up to the midterm elections.

The Obama-nation got elected on his/her record of voting "Present".

They should have all voted no. But they can do as they please. Why honor a racist in congress?

Why did they hold a moment (8 min 46 sec) of silence and take a knee for a drug dealer?

What's your basis for that? Based on what I read, he was strongly anti immigrant and did not believe in systemic racism. While we may not agree with him, it doesn't mean he was a racist.

He'd certainly feel more affinity with Candace Owens or Marco Rubio than most of the white men on your side of the aisle.

I feel for the man’s family but in my opinion he’s not the hero that some are trying to portray him as. He’s certainly not a christian martyr as some evangelical preachers are labeling him.

If some in congress don’t want to support him with a congressional resolution I don’t have a problem with that.

But ICU is right, I’m sure the opposition are already coming up with ways to politicize this vote and will make it a position piece for the midterm elections.

If you have to ask you might not understand the explanation.

Whatever it was, it made him special enough to be assented.

These were the same people who would not stand to recognize the family of the brutally murdered Laken Reiley.
