So let me see if I get this argument right: Grant was a drunk. Many others in the military are too. You're obviously okay with that. And Hegseth's history and blatant lack of qualifications. Hmmm. My standards might be a bit higher. And saying that it is okay that someone is an asshole because a bunch of other people were assholes too isn't the best argument.

Umm. Please tell me. What the fuck do MY "sins" have to do with this? I've never run for office. I've never sought a Cabinet-level appointment. I've never maintained that I could be any kind of competent leader or commander. Just because I would suck at this doesn't mean it is okay for them to!
