NYC’s Zohran Mamdani Confirms He Wants Legal Prostitution
Not only does Mamdani want to be NYC's next Mayor, but he also wants to be NYC's biggest pimp. Mamdani must think he can revolutionize the world's oldest profession by taxing NYC's working ladies and Johns to death. Remember, it's a politicians job to figure out how to get into your wallet and Mamdani is shooting an angle with prostitution. Is this good or bad?
As the economy crumbles in the USA and more businesses shutter their doors I can see prostitution being legalized as a way to scoop up more tax payer dollars in the future as the economy worsens.

I think that's what he is going for. To be honest I think it's something that's going to happen and it will more than likely happen in Democrat led states first. It's a sign that manufacturing jobs are not coming back and Mamdani wants another tax base to prop up NYC coffers. I've predicted that prostitution could become more mainstream throughout the USA for tax money purposes. It's just like the medical dispensaries, casino gambling, lottery, alcohol, etc. An involuntary tax on a vice if you want it.

New York City has already decriminalized prostitution. New York state has not, but Mamdani's not running for governor. He's running to become mayor.
Bloomberg, who at the time was a Republican, was the last decent mayor New York City had. And the last one before that was another Republican, Rudy Giuliani, back before he went loony tunes.
Anyway, with decriminalized prostitution and a soon-to-be socialist leader, NYC more than ever will be a nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there.

Ummm . . .Well he does want City owned grocery stores with subsidized pricing . . .
Perhaps he would also propose City owned brothels with subsidized donations?
Don;t think II;d be interested in either for about the same reasons!

You don't understand or fail to understand TXSappers point.
Yes, that idiot Commie Mandami is going to win. Promise to give people free shit and those who don't produce and add to society will gladly vote for you to take money from the productive people and give it to them 100 out of 100 times. That's a no brainer.
NY has lost $14 BILLION in taxable income to Florida in the last 5 years. People are already moving to the suburbs in anticipation of the hell about to be unleashed on the city. So when the tax revenue runs away, leftists will tax whoever remains to keep power. So middle class people will be taxed even more.
Leftism corrupts all it controls. EVERYTHING. Morons.

Greed corrupts all it controls. Whether that’s on the left or the right.
P.S. decriminalizing sex work across the country would be a good idea in my opinion.

I'd figure righties would hate this. Wanting to be the moral police.
Maybe Mandami is doing this just to piss them off.
But I find it surprising that people on a hooker board would look down on this.
It has always happened. And it's staying. Why not follow the logical step/

And the fact Mamdani is champion for being a promoteer
of sex work will be just Grand for the people.
And since President Trump has declared "NO Tax on Tips!"
the situation there is a WIN/WIN! ... ...

No they haven't yet, it is being worked on with "Cecilia's Act for Rights in the Sex Trades".
They have drastically reduced arrests and prosecutions though.
No republicans are involved in this.

If Mamdani could create an Amsterdam-like RLD in NYC ... it would be a big win for the city!
The RLD in A'Dam (although not perfect) is essentially safe and civilized ... with bars, restaurants, marijuana coffeeshops, live sex shows, sports bars and hundreds upon hundreds of wide-eyed tourists from around the world in a state of disbelief gleefully spending their $$$!
There can be nothing better than a monger (after smokin' a joint and downing a couple of beers)... going on a midnight booty call checking out the low-mileage, mint-condition, Euro cuties in the windows!
It's hobby Heaven!
For a monger ... there's nothing better!
Its good kickass fun!
The RLD is a bucket-list destination!
And deservedly so!
Will it work in NYC?
It's worth a try!
(Post about to timeout ... more to follow.)
