Oh its fine unless woke protestors who like to use the plaza area to wine and complain block the road, if you could take a few of those out that would be helpful as well!

Big Deal is correct, and that's at the east end of Plaza at Mill Creek park (Baltimore and 47th). None of the hotels are within two blocks of that and the cops show up and are bored. Usually very short events.

In the future Nichols Rd (center of shopping district) may be turned into pedestrian only. But I am aware that several shop keepers will claim breech of lease, if the new(ish) owner does that, and go elsewhere, as they are looking for any excuse to walk away from what they consider high rents. The last few years have had weak foot traffic already for shopping, and the lack of parking situation will get worse.

It's been a while since I've been back to KC but the one thing the Plaza always had was loads of free parking. So how can it be true that they have a parking problem and no customers in the shops?

Depends on when your there. This time of year, going into the holidays, maybe not.
