Imma do a bit of random reassembly, to build a more congruent timeline.
While it may seem to start out off topic, it finishes on point - IMMHO.

You may remember the O'Bama-nation 2008 campaign trail refrain to Joe the Plumber: "And I think when you spread the wealth around, it’s good for everybody". Joe was not a "concentrated wealth" kinda guy. He was a plumber wanting to purchase a business for $250K.

Notwithstanding the glaring denials that Trump won 2024, perhaps you recall the O'Bama-nation's phrase right after inauguration in 2009: "Elections have consequences, and at the end of the day, I won". Ironically enough, he was also reported to have said: "So I think on that one I trump you".

It was actually HillaryCare from the early 1990s, created in secret and cut-n-pasted into a deleted Veterans health bill to become the ACA on March 23, 2010. It was an abortion then and has remained an albatross since.
As you may recall, he received a devastating "shellacking" for it in that same year at the November 3, 2010 midterm elections. To his credit and far different than today's Democrats, he stated: "I'm not recommending for every future President that they take a shellacking like I did last night," and admitted he had been "humbled" by the results.
In other words, he owned it and attempted to move on. Although, in September, 2013 he was faced with his own 2 month long shutdown and guess what it was about. He wanted even more of Other Peoples Money, to pretty-up his ugly baby, i.e. ACA.
In fact, he was rather peeved about it. How dare they! He was slamming shutdowns as “irresponsible” and accusing Republicans of trying to "blackmail a president”... You can view the 60 second
subtitled pontification here. I dunno, maybe that's just how he does open dialog and all.

Interesting transference and ducking of responsibility. Let's see how that plays out. Let us recollect pResident AutoPen's
American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 initially provided enhanced subsidies for the Affordable Care Act (ACA) marketplaces for the 2021 and 2022 plan years. How? You guessed it: More of Other People's Money.
This was followed up with pResident AutoPen's
Inflation Reduction Act of 2022, which extended enhanced premium tax credits (PTCs) for three additional years, covering plan years 2023 through 2025. How? You, know. The thing... More of Other People's Money. Come on man!
So here we are. You have a 15 year old, fugly baby, from day 1, that has morphed into an albatross around your own neck, which you've continuously shoveled endless streams of; go ahead, you can tells us, we already know: More of Other People's Money and it's actually uglier than the day it was born.
Transference, ducking responsibilities, even throwing tons-o Other People's money at it has not fixed a ding-danged thing. But now it's all the Republican's fault. That's your whole shutdown argument?!? And whatever happens, Republicans have to fix it this very second, even after 15 years of your expensive and feeble minded attempts, or we shut the government down STAT, because we are totally willing to "leverage" the bejesus outta the most vulnerable people we have at hand!
Either that or we deleverage the most vulnerable, keep planes from falling out of the sky, put on our big boy pants and work for We the People, which in all irony is the purpose of a CR, much as I dislike them.
Going with the we ain't never had the power to do nut'n 'bout nut'n it in all those 15 years and it's all yous guy's fault, just ain't gonna cut it.
