Out of curiosity, what pleasure do you get from the erosion of America's faith in the press?
Should reporters be held accountable for their off the record conversations? I guess if you find that they're having off the record conversations outrageous, then you should be calling for Trump's head.
Seems like that's a Trumpian thing. Or any other hypocritical fascist before him.

They finally arrested and charged the SON of The Climate Change and you didn't even know it!
No idea if/how they are actually related.
Regardless, we now have Jr Climate Changer in cuffs, thousands of home erased and a few corpses to boot.

Suspect Arrested in Connection with Devastating LA Wildfire
By Ole Braatelien October 8, 2025
Jonathan Rinderknecht, the man accused of sparking the Palisades Fire in Los Angeles earlier this year, was arrested Tuesday.
Rinderknecht, now living in Melbourne, Florida, was charged with destruction of property by means of fire, according to a Wednesday news release published by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in California.
“The complaint alleges that a single person’s recklessness caused one of the worst fires Los Angeles has ever seen, resulting in death and widespread destruction in Pacific Palisades,” said Bill Essayli, acting U.S. attorney. “While we cannot bring back what victims lost, we hope this criminal case brings some measure of justice to those affected by this horrific tragedy.”
...It all began on New Year’s Eve, 2024, when Rinderknecht was working as an Uber driver.
Two separate passengers noticed something was off about him that night; they later told police he appeared angry and agitated.
After dropping off a customer in the Pacific Palisades, where he used to live, Rinderknecht drove to Skull Rock Trailhead.
He hiked up the trail, and while on a hilltop, took some video and listened to a rap song, the same one he’d been playing for days, according to the news release.
The song’s music video reportedly featured content about things being set on fire...

You probably remember the Oak fire in California last summer that was caused by the climate change. Much was written about a condition known locally as "summer" and of course the climate change that was responsible for the destruction and carnage. There was wall to wall coverage by the usual news reguritators on all the Lamb SCREAM media, aka Pravda, channels. In case of memory fade, you can ask the Googlie.
Hey the Googlie: california oak fire climate change
Why Yosemite's Oak fire is burning with such ferocity - explained
How 'spreading like wildfire' is getting a terrifying new ... - CNN
Dry, hot weather and dehydrated plants fuel Oak Fire - Popular Science
Wildfire burn areas are getting bigger due to climate change - Los ...
A Clear Indication That Climate Change Is Burning Up California
Climate Change Has Made California's Wildfires Five Times Bigger
Unfortunately, even the Greta Thunburg was not able to find the climate change culprit that was responsible for it. To be fair, she probably didn't look because, according to her, we would all be dead by now anyway. So why bother? Welp... turns out the climate change was living under an assumed name, aka alias, this whole time. But you wouldn't know it from the Googlie search above. No word yet if Mr. Wackerman (you can't even make up a name that good for this) is a Valued Poster, aka member, of this site. We'll leave that up to site staff to determine.

Reporters of LSM have abandoned the concept of "Truthfulness"!

I lived through the whole Watergate scandal. I watched the Ervine committee hearings and got my fill of it. When it all boiled down to the truth and President Nixon decided to resign rather than face the impeachment process, the whole story of how Woodward and Bernstein did their reporting.
And one of the main points of that side-bar to Watergate, was the issue of verifying what their sources told them. They were told by their editorial leadership that they had to have two sources for every story they reported. . . .and getting that verification was a major part of their book, "Al the President's Men".
Today none of that seems to be the case for anyone in the mainstream news business.

There is one thing Nixon has that donny don't: shame.
Nixon was able to rehabilitate his image. Won't be able to get the Cheeto dust off of donnys.

Another Red Hot - fresh from the I did NOT SEE this one coming files...
Well... to her credit, at least she can lie with a straight face.

GASLIGHTING: MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace Claims No Democrats Have Compared Trump to Hitler
by Mike LaChance Oct. 27, 2025
MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace looked into a camera today, and with a straight face, claimed that no Democrats have compared President Trump to Hitler.
Not only have they compared Trump to Hitler repeatedly, they’ve done it on Wallace’s own show.
This is the type of obvious gaslighting and outright lying that has caused millions of Americans to lose trust in the media. Everyone knows this is a lie, yet she just tells viewers not to believe their own eyes and ears.
The Wrap reports:
JB Pritzker insisted that he has never compared Donald Trump to Hitler – one week after he compared the United States’ use of ICE and border patrol agents to Nazi Germany.
“I haven’t suggested that Donald Trump is Hitler,” the Illinois Governor said while talking with Nicolle Wallace on “The Best People” podcast.
Wallace chimed in: “I don’t think any Democrat has. I think it’s a smear that they project back onto critics. JD Vance called Donald Trump cultural heroin, he called him America’s Hitler. The attacks on Donald Trump as a fascist came from three-star generals who worked for him.”
Just last week, while speaking at The Economic Club of Chicago, Pritzker drew parallels between Trump’s leveraging of ICE and the border patrol against illegal immigrants to the Nazi’s attacks on Jews.
“This is how authoritarian regimes do it,” Pritzker said. “They create these kind of fake ideas that there’s an enemy out there and it could be sitting next to you at one of these tables. So just somebody sitting at your table that you don’t like might be one of those enemies. So let’s round them up, let’s make sure they are the subjects of the laws that we’re passing, because we don’t like who they are. That is what authoritarian regimes do.” Here’s the clip

As is often the case; the internets not only remembers, but it often brings the receipts:

Such an aptly titled thread! Thanks for bringing it back to the top!
It all reminds me of this one, which just CANNOT be beat:
"They're eating the dogs!"
So, let's see what else we can get "off the presses"...
Here's a bit of academic research (none of this Republic Broadcasting Network clickbait):
Pfiffner-The-Lies-of-Donald-Trump-A-Taxonomy.pdf
An estimated 30,000+ during his first term!
You keep posting yours! We can match you with virtually no effort. Just with Trump! And if we expand it to all of MAGA, well... 30K is gonna just be a small start. Hell, we can probably find 30K just on that stupid Republic Broadcasting site...
(It's got to be pretty fucking embarrassing to shamelessly support a lying cocksucker who is so famous for it that University professors write papers about it!)

Beware the rocky shores of the BBC

Imma guess you're not a fan of Light Houses either?!?
Set your sites on the BBC's rocky shore-line:
Quote:
Tim Davie resigns as BBC director general over Trump documentary edit
Tim Davie has resigned as the director general of the BBC following criticism that a Panorama documentary misled viewers by editing a speech by US President Donald Trump.
Deborah Turness, the corporation's head of News, has also stepped down from her role over the issue.
Davie had held the top job for five years, but had recently faced increasing pressure over a series of missteps and allegations of bias.
The Telegraph published details of a leaked internal BBC memo on Monday that suggested the Panorama programme edited two parts of Trump's speech together so he appeared to explicitly encourage the Capitol Hill riots of January 2021...
|
That speech was a deceptively edited version of Trump's J6 speech, which made it appear he was inciting a riot. (Oh! Canada. Anyone?!?)
There was also an anchorwoman who corrected someone who mentioned "pregnant people" and she corrected it to < gasp!...> "women". She was publicly censored over her gaffe.
So isn't the right question more like:
Why would anyone put any faith in liars, regurgitation partisan falsehoods on the airwaves?
P.S.: The BBC's article on this news was actually up to snuff and even a little introspective. So who knows...

First of all - how DO you do it? I can’t deal with it and will be doing everything I legally can to end this obscene regime and their propagandists.
And second — how would you know?

And third....who really gives a fuck about the BBC? I have some pretty liberal friends and neighbors and even they don't.
Then again...the whole idea that MAGA would complain about someone misrepresenting something in the press is motherfucking hysterical. Especially poster 189...

Of course the usual suspects here claim the press never lies and cry about Trump. Without getting pointed for blatant insults towards other posters. Never mind the proven falsehoods about Trump that the left parrots without question.

I think the point is well made in ALL of the press that I've seen that the BBC DID lie about Trump in this case. In a fashion. But still, calling it a lie is not unreasonable. They are paying the fucking price, for sure. And no one has defended what the BBC did so far.
As for these "usual suspects" people...I have to say that I am happy to be numbered among them!
First off, it was a GREAT movie. I mean...Kevin Spacey is a pervert cocksucker (for real!). But still, it's a damn fine flick.
But also...it is far better than being one of the "other suspects"... with their obsequious fealty and unending, nauseating use of North Korea-style dialog and rhetoric.
Still, I share the concern about insults, most definitely.
For instance, if someone were to...oh, say... weaponize the term "Anti-Semitism" and use it against others here, in defense of lies.
Someone who did that should definitely pay a price.
How they accepted it would then say a lot.
They could...act like a man and grow the fuck up, move the fuck on.
Or they could whine like a little bitch...

And you KNOW this HOW?
If you can prove any of that bullshit, I think we'd all like to see it because it affects every member of ECCIE.

Oh the irony of those statements ROOSTER. My in-laws are Jewish so I'll say whatever I want about the treatment they receive from YOUR side. And again, take your own advice. Seems you're acting like your last few lines by using a shamdle. Printing lies is what caused the American people to stop trusting the media. Seems they've forgotten that their job is to report what's actually happening and let people make up their own minds.
