Wow! You're completely callous. Why would anyone try to minimize 100,000+ deaths a year? Maybe this will give you a better perspective:
Combine the number of US soldiers killed during our last four major wars - 1) Iraq 2) Afghanistan 3) Vietnam and 4) Korea. The combined total will still fall short of the number of your fellow Americans who died from drug overdoses in the single year of 2023.

Wow again. When's the last time you saw a "fishing boat" powered by four 600-hp outboard motors? Do you think we ought to wait until the boats are in US waters before we stop them or blow them up? If the drugs stay in the Caribbean or get smuggled on to Europe and kill people there, are the lives lost of no concern to you?
