It’s more than that.

Victims of sexual trafficking can obtain a T visa to remain legally in the US. This provides them a work permit, ability to apply for a Green Card, and access to public benefits that denied to immigrants(Medicaid, housing, food stamps, etc ). This visa can also apply to their immediate family.
