If you're looking for just no hassle pay to play providers, San Antonio is where id go besides dfw...
If you're a broad horizons kinda player (just chasing tail however it may come, tinder, AM, fetlife, double list, etc) Id say OKC, Austin, and Houston are closely tied with each other for "close drive to DFW. OKC is a personal fav of mine (see below)
The smaller cities just outside Dfw are a waste of time imho.. Even bigger ones like Waco, Tyler etc have nothing going on hobby wise, and hookup sites are super low traffic because in smaller towns, its too easy to show up visible to your family, church folks, employers, etc.. everyone knows everyone. It's like the old saying about the difference between catholicss and baptists - catholics will wave back at each other at the liquor store.
As for OKC - I have had INSANELY good times there (mores than anywhere else I travel) sitting in a mediocre hotel near the airport, or the bar in said hotel, trolling every business woman that comes through, and putting feelers out on every hookup platform available. Plenty of women who will come to you, looking for someone they won't run into later when they're grocery shopping with the husband etc.. Seems like the legalized recreational MJ there loosened up the population.
If you're really all in, sites like double list and fetlife where you'll find swinger couples looking for mfm seem to have a good ROI too, where DFW and Orlando Fl are the only two other places I have had that kind of luck with Hotwifing and 3 ways. Lots of sinners in the heart of the Bible Belt..
