So... You're implying that as long as illegal aliens only kill people at the same rate as US citizen CDL holders, you are happy allowing illegals drive on the roads...

If your children die in an with a CDL holder, you would not be MORE upset if the driver wasn't even supposed to be in the Country?

I would be. Accidents happen... but in this case it would be an accident that was preventable, and indeed, the government who I pay mucho dinero too in terms of taxes has a DUTY to prevent that accident. The State DMVs that issued that CDL have a DUTY to prevent that accident.

I have been 100% clear that I don't care about the rate at which illegals kill others on the road. I don't care if they are the best drivers that ever sat behind the wheel of a tractor... even 1 death at the hands of someone that is LEGALLY NOT SUPPOSED to be behind the wheel let alone in the Country is one too many.

The rate is irrelevant. The fact that they kill anyone at all is the key factor in my not wanting them on the roads.

I could also speculate beyond logical reason and make the following claim, which would be just as valid as yours (a VERY low bar):

If we prevent "illegal aliens" from getting CDL's, then we will be forced to give more freight work to driver's with citizenship. And it has already been proven that those drivers have a higher fatal accident rate than "illegals" (lookit up, dammit, I ain't doing my work for you!)....

It makes fatal accidents MORE likely if we DON'T give CDL's to illegals!

And the government has an OBLIGATION to give them to them, or they are not doing their best job to ensure our safety!
