I have to be honest … texted this ad too, couldn’t make it that night but said I would reach out the next day to firm up a time then … yet first I got a text from another number saying ‘you texted a girl from my brother and wasted her time, you’re going to pay me or we are going to have a big problem’. Blocked and moved on, of course. I trust the reviews here as genuine but not sure if those who couldn’t immediately book are having this issue.

I doubt it was a coincidence because I had just changed my hobby phone number a couple of days before and hadn’t really gone hunting. I also guess I can’t completely rule out it being a coincidence that I was assigned an already exposed hobby number, though that does seem unlikely.

Same thing happened to me. I try to reach out to the number attached to the ad multiple times over two days with no response. Got a phone call and text yesterday saying the same exact thing; stating my full name and address. I replied back because I was confused then realized it was bullshit and blocked the number.

I’d recommend using Google Voice numbers, especially ads that have a high likelihood of being scams.
