Every once in awhile you will see a story from somewhere in the US that the “black book” got confiscated by police and they at least make it sound like they are going to contact guys who are in it. I can’t recall a time when we had reliable reports of LE making that kind of effort here, but post-2023 I would be at least a little concerned.

For those guys who did provide RW info to one of the impacted studios, you can take some solace that as each day passes without you receiving a visit or reading about LE contacting clients, the likelihood they don’t have that information or that they don’t do anything with it improves.

You re wrong about being just a “little” worried. Anyone that verified with any of these organizations with real world information or drove their own vehicle to visit them should be shitting brick rightness.

The last time the studios got busted there were numerous mongers that were contacted by LE because of the information they provided the studios was kept by the studios and the police recovered it. Also, the police had been watching the apartments for quite some time and had vehicle information on visitors. LE even had travel information on the mongers from toll cameras and traffic cameras all over Dfw.

This is not speculation. This is fact.

My information comes directly from individuals that were contacted by LE. The detailed information that the police had on these individuals was frightening.

Possibly, but that’s why I asked the question in the posts above yours.

I wasn’t paying attention during those prior studio busts. I’m paying more attention this time just to become more educated on events, and hopefully establish for myself what the truth is.

What makes it difficult to ascertain the real story in these studio busts is there are certain players who like to throw out all kind of lies for whatever reason. The agendas in this space are amazing even by hobby standards.

While the cops can pick you up whenever they want, usually stuff like what's discussed on the past few pages are used to socially ostracise people, not necessarily bring charges.

Every studio is different, but the ones I know operational wise, bookers keep the info and bookers aren't on prem/work from home/etc. Real bad opsec if mamasan has info or booker is at the stash house.

They sell screen data/information.
When this first started, HaeJin had large screen data from APT and LA and sold it to LA, GL and KF. Then MingJung had her own screen data from SF. LA and GL sold data to CP and some. Ming Jung sold data to KP, Velvet’s start up agencies and some.
Data has been sold as low as $500 to tens of thousands. Some bookers and promoters have these data also.
