I would expect a restaurant using rule of 3 to factor that increased cost into their menu pricing, as well as any other cost increases. Not a 1:1 $ for $.
And unless the restaurant was the importer, which often isn't the case, there would be one or more additional middleman mark-up beyond the tariff

WRONG. The current tariffs on Indonesia are 32%. The 19% figure you're referring to is what the TACO is hoping for in early 2026. The prices today reflect the current reality, not what some TACO dumbass hopes will happen soon.
Nevermind the fact that 0% of these tariffs are necessary. But yeah, go ahead and keep making excuses for the fat fuck with the rotting hands. I hope you're enjoying these higher prices you voted for.

I honestly dont know how some people actually dress themselves with their obvious limited capibilities .....
https://www.seafoodsource.com/news/s...with-indonesia
second post.....
In 2025, the U.S. imposed a 19% reciprocal tariff on most Indonesian goods entering the United States, a reduction from a threatened 32% rate, following a trade deal where Indonesia agreed to eliminate over 99% of its tariff and non-tariff barriers on U.S. exports and purchase more American products, including energy and Boeing jets. This agreement, announced by then-President Trump, went into effect around August
and finally......
No, the planned 32% US tariffs on Indonesian goods were not enacted. Instead, a trade deal was reached in July 2025 that set the U.S. tariff rate on most Indonesian imports at 19%.
The 32% tariff was a rate initially threatened by the Trump administration as part of its "reciprocal tariff" policy, which was scheduled to take effect on August 1, 2025
do you ever get tired of always being wrong?

The current tariffs on Indonesia are 32%, your fake news website notwithstanding.
The confusion comes from TACO man not knowing what the fuck he's doing. Besides, the threats of tariffs are a huge part of the problem. The stock market has been reflecting that for the past year.
American business owners are being forced to play this stupid game of "will he or won't he?". Prices go up based on speculation all the time.
And again, it can't be overstated, almost none of these tariffs are necessary. Thanks for the price hikes, MAGA.

It gets more absurd by the day around here. Makes you wonder how some here are actually functioning adults.

Thread is about tariffs, not you. Eye on the ball. Thanks for the bump, though.
Another example of why you're not going get rid of those income taxes with tariff revenue. Tariffman doesn't have the juice and keeps softening his tariff hardon

Now you're starting to realize what we've been dealing with since 2016. Well, tough titty, because that shit can go both ways.
MAGA has been proven wrong hundreds of times over the past decade and never admits it. Have a taste of your own medicine for a change. The tariffs on Indonesia are 32%. I don't have to prove it. That's what they are. Deal with it.

Lol! You just implicitly admitted you are wrong (about our current tariff rates on Indonesian imports), while refusing to explicitly admit you are wrong! That's hilarious!
If I make you a crabcake dinner, will you explicitly admit you are wrong?

Lol! You make this too easy. How about if we disprove it then? Here's what my trusty AI research assistant came up with:
"The current average US tariff rate on imports from Indonesia is set at a reciprocal tariff rate of 19%, established as part of a trade deal in July 2025, significantly increasing from previous rates. This 19% rate is applied to many Indonesian goods entering the U.S., though specific product tariffs can vary and some items may have different duties or remain exempt under various trade policies and agreements."

It's just hilarious that we're expected to believe MAGA's "proof" when they NEVER believe proof of other things they don't like hearing.
Maybe I can claim tariff fraud? Maybe there was a late-night, last minute "tariff dump" in the back of a big truck that made the price of crab cakes go up by 30%? Maybe the tariffs are eating the cats and eating the dogs? Did the author of that shady article you've provided have proper media credentials? Was the author of that article in this country legally?
I'm gonna go with tariff fraud, thank you. Tariffs on Indonesia are actually 32%. Thanks for playing.
