What are the chances of getting arrested?
So this goes without saying but since the whole bust happened and I'm sure LE has gotten information from the Studios, what are likelihood that they will go after the john's that visit these establishments?
I know it's not the first nor the last bust that will happen.
LE probably has enough information and if not can find ways to get our RW information from the pieces that they have to track us down.
Personally I'm probably going to step away for the studio scene for good this time but I'm just scared that one day I'm going to get a knock on my door.
Is this a valid concern or am I just being overly paranoid?

Considering the law in Texas, I'd say it's a valid concern. The law states:
Quote:
|
A person commits an offense if the person knowingly offers or agrees to pay a fee to another person for the purpose of engaging in sexual conduct with that person or another
|
That means even text messages could potentially be used to charge you even if you didn't actually do anything. All they really need is the agreement. You can read the full statute here

At this point it has been almost a month since the studio closures and arrests that have dominated discussion here. Despite what the statute says, building cases against every casual customer of those establishments isn’t easy and won’t be a priority. If they haven’t contacted you yet they probably won’t.
Going forward, however, remember the sleepless nights that you experienced with this episode and let that be the basis for how you mitigate risk going forward. Providing RW information for screening and agreeing to sex for money in text messages is not a good idea and never has been, so if you have done that before you should reconsider that practice in the future.

What Brazilian got busted???
You have said repeatedly in the past a 4th K-org got busted and they did not.
While the C-org got hit, they are still up and running.. they just hit a hotel the girls were using but not the entire org.

@nono: How many of these have occurred since the 12/17 closures, because I haven’t seen any confirmed reports since mid-December. And how many johns have been contacted on these most recent incidences (I’m not talking about cases from a year or several years ago)?
I definitely would not recommend continuing patronage of establishments that are still open. There is absolutely risk that the contagion will spread, and just because bullets may have been dodged with the last round, the next could be different.

Wait so you guys think one month no news mean that is safe to go back? Remember C-Org got hit in Septem/Octo, K-org got hit December. So now it is Jan it is safe? What is your logic?

When you say “you guys” I assume you are not including me since I said the opposite. The OP expressed concern about his potential exposure to the December closures, and stated his current intent is to stay away from all studios for awhile. I was responding specifically to his question.
Looking over other responses, I see no one sounding the all-clear siren. I and others have asked for evidence that there have been other closures/arrests. So far I have seen rumors circulated but nothing more.

If people could read, he’s not asking if he should keep going… He’s asking if there are any repercussions from having gone before.

I think the chance of them showing up to your door to arrest you is very slim, however keep going to the studio or agency knowing too well that they have been making a bust every other month for the last 4 - 5 months is not wise. Especially with Greg Abbot is looking into Dallas police shortage issue.

Abbott is focused on downtown crime leading to firms bailing on downtown Dallas, so he isn’t the driver behind this.
I don’t think anyone is advocating for guys to start calling on studios again. We may not see another forced closure for a year, or we may quickly see additional actions based on evidence gathered from December operations. No one knows, but it is clear that LE is well aware of these outfits and won’t allow them to continue in their current form if they can help it.

I believe the statute of limitation is 10 years on these in TX.
I am not a lawyer so consult your legal counsel.

Generally 3 years unless the person being solicited is a minor in which case it's 10 years from the date of their 18th birthday.
