Seems mostly a libtard issue being raised to the level of hysteria by the Trumplandians.

Someone educate me please. How many transgenders are participating in public school sports? How many assisted trans are there for under 18's. What happens if a child is born with both sets of genitalia and the parents choose right hand and turns out left is dominate?

Good questions. I don't know about most of this. But what I do know from direct experience is that most "transgenders" don't participate in sports. They are very self-conscious and want to minimize the attention that they are getting. And the ones that do participate aren't usually anything special in their chosen events. Let's just say....they aren't the most athletic people amongst their peers.

They participate for reasons like wanting to be with their friends, wanting to experience team spirit, etc. You know....those horrible things that other kids want to do.

As for your other questions, they are the types of important questions that are being ignored. Most of this is just being fueled by prejudice and ideology. None of the questions about how this stuff really works are being thought through.

This is PRECISELY how the Supreme Court should be spending its time.

I can’t think of any more important issue facing the nation, the world, the universe.

Jesus.

If a person has one X chromosome and one Y chromosome they are male.

If a person has two X chromosomes and no Y chromosome they are female.

It is simple . . as it was so often said back in 2020 . . ."Follow the science!"

No amount of hormone manipulation or surgery can alter that.

It is not that simple. Truly, it is not. Like I said, most people have not thought this through. Most of the reaction to it is purely emotional, not based in any real fact.

But don't take my word or it.

For those who need links:
https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/body/chromosomes

https://medlineplus.gov/genetics/und...nychromosomes/

Tis is pretty much cut and dried: Twenty-Three pairs of chromosomes in each cell in one's body. In each cell, there is one pair that determines the sex of the individual. In females, this chromosome pair consist of two "X" chromosomes. In males, this chromosome pair consists of now "X" chromosome and one "Y" chromosome.

I cannot simplify it further or make it any more explicit than that.

well what's an XXY then? or an XO? or an XX who produces testosterone levels on a par with a man? or an XY with estrogen levels normal for a female? or a male born with ovaries? or a person born with characteristics of both sexes?

actually, it's not simple at all. you don't think nature makes mistakes, or things can't get..complicated?

bahahaha..

ex chromosomes
Sex chromosomes can either be an X or a Y. Everyone gets an X chromosome from their biological mother. Females get an additional X from their biological father. Males get a Y from their biological father. So, your 23rd pair of chromosomes is typically either two Xs or an X and a Y. But some people have:

More than one Y
More than two Xs
Two Xs and a Y
Only one X
X is similar to an autosome. It has over 1,000 genes, and you can’t survive without at least one X chromosome. Experts estimate that the Y chromosome has far fewer genes than the X chromosomes or your autosomes. Its main role is in developing the male reproductive system.

Thanks PX and rx...

As I said, these issues are not simple. They are being treated as such by people who are ignorant....or don't care....or have an agenda.

The Supreme Court should be determining what rights citizens have, regardless of their gender. The Supreme Court shouldn’t be in the business of deciding what defines a woman or a man.

Well sure, those genetic anomalies happen. Tis has been known own since the 1970s. They are rare. Certainly they they are far more rare than the assumed incidence of trans-sexual problems in American society today.

I recognize that there are some few, a very few, people who have a genuine issue with their sex, that stems their biology.

Anyone with a normal genetic make up who has an issue with sex, has a mental issue, not a biological issue. For the purposes of competitive sports and hygiene, heir genetics still defines them as male or female, not what they think they are.

Before you get running off on how I’m some leftie…..I don’t think trans people should compete in the alternate sports….if a guy becomes a girl, keep playing guys sports etc…..

elg…..

Ever hear the phrase, "Turn your head and cough"? I did starting at age 9 in order to participate in organized boys sports.

I guess you didn't play sports as a youth if you're unfamiliar with that.
