Burt Jones can't even get his 'charges' right...
In announcing the Ethics Committee meeting, Jones said that
“315,000 ballots were not properly signed by poll workers."
Ballots in Georgia are never signed. It was the tabulator tapes from scanners that weren't signed.
In unrelated news...locally in Dallas County, the fallback of a decision by the Dallas County Republican Party to hold its own primary using neighborhood precincts rather than a joint primary with the Democratic Party after the failed ill-advised quest for hand counted ballots.
The result? The good taxpayers of Dallas County get to pay to communicate this decision to the voters.
The Dallas County Commissioners Court approved a $1 million voter education campaign to clarify major changes ahead of the March 3, 2026, primary election.
For the first time in nearly a decade, residents can no longer vote at any polling site on Election Day. Voters must now cast their ballots at their assigned neighborhood precincts on March 3.
