Why do you NOT like to be called Fascist?
Indiana National Guard ‘military police’ bill passes House
https://indianacapitalchronicle.com/...-passes-house/
Quote:
He worried the bill’s broad language could enable politicized deployments.
“It’s insulting enough to have an invading force dropped in your community because somebody doesn’t like your politics, but now it’s resulting in people getting killed,” Pierce said. “It’s not a hypothetical idea.”
He and other opponents repeatedly referred to [D]ump’s “Operation Metro Surge.” Two U.S. citizens have been killed this month in immigration enforcement shootings, driving massive protests in and beyond the Twin Cities.
Pierce argued the bill gives too much power to the governor, while Bartels said it actually limits his authority by requiring the force have security clearances, training and more.

It seems this has more to do with avoiding a military/police state than it does with Facism. Fascism is when the government and corporate entity join forces to essentially dominate the people. For example, the US government paying Far-left Google to run ICE recruitment ads on their Youtube platform for months. That is a prime example of Fascism at work, Big Brother teaming up with Google to dominate the people in which Google obliged. Classic Fascism where the mainstream media never put far-left Google/Youtube on blast like they should have.
Taken from the article link,
"Proponents maintain the measure ensures Hoosier soldiers and airmen are ready for emergencies — citing the fractured response to the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing."
"Opponents fear the provisions could be abused, pointing to President Donald Trump’s ongoing, lethal deployment of federal immigration officers to Minnesota."
For the article to cite the Boston Marathon bombing response is 100% bullshit and reflects more on the government getting control of a real problem or threat. The threat not being ICE, but a mob of citizens trying to fight with the government. The real fight will begin when there is a currency crisis in America, what's going on with ICE is childs play.

Oh that is a nicely ribbon wrapped statement that is being clearly displayed by the current administration.

Well, my mother's folks all came from Italy in the ought or teen years to live in New York City, just after 1900 as very young people. My m other grew up and matured in the 20s and 30s as Mussolini and his Facets grew and matured in Italy (the real faciests) did . . .in Italy.
In that pre-war period, the black shirts tried to export their brand of authoritarian oppression to the US. My grandparents, in my living memory, were vociferously opposed to this real facieiam. They had experience of its effects on people through their connection to relatives who had lived under the facet boot in Italy.
What we are seeing in American society today is not Facisiam, however much the progressive left wants us to think it is. If anything, the broad suppression of Americansociety during the Biden yers was.

"Fascism is a far-right, authoritarian ultranationalist political ideology characterized by a dictatorial leader, centralized autocratic government, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and the economy. It prioritizes the nation or race above individual rights and freedoms and relies on mass mobilization through propaganda, militarism, and a cult of personality to achieve national unity and power. Key historical examples include Benito Mussolini's Italy and Nazi Germany under Adolf Hitler."
I don't think anyone is saying we're living under the fascism you describe. We certainly didn't live under anything close to what Italy went through under Biden. The real fear is that we are heading towards living under a fascist government as defined above. We just aren't being pushed into it by violence, rather through passive acceptance by a propagandized population.

I am focused on policy and it's i mplementation rather than personality and name calling.
YES . . . I am convinced that the current administration from the chief executive to the cabinet secretaries and other high level appointees are more capable in their positions than many in the previous administration.
Before VP Harris was seen in widely viewed interviews, I had never heard the phrase "Word Salad". If that phrase is unfamilure to you, go to YouTube and search with those words and "Harris". there are plenty of examples.
President Biden was known to me through his long years in elected office as an articulate liberal. When he became President, it was obvious to me that the yers had caught up to him and he was no longer an effective official at any level.
With that said: I did not engage in labeling either of them with cute or clever names. I wrote about their short comings and the dangers of their policies.
If one can ot make a point without resorting to Fifth Grade name calling, they really have no point to make. Doing so will not convince me.
Moreover, I feel that way about folks posting on both sides of the Red/Blue divide.

Yet you support the current President, who utters 5th grade trash talk and name calling in every sentence…….not to even mention the lies spewed daily, and the unintelligible word salads he creates……
By your own words, you say Trump has no points to make by his trash talk.

Yet they persist. We know Trump isn’t going to change. If not, why are his numbers dropping like so many turds in the lunch bowl?

Where were the Democrats denouncing Google when they allowed ICE recruitment ads on their Youtube platform? Were they all hiding in the echo chamber known as Blue Sky? Never forget that the Democrats are the political party of the Ku Klux Klan and the Confederate States of America and they still want your guns. Some things remain the same but you must remember your history.

Right you are . . .I value policy and its implementation over personality. Even with his character flaws, conversational faux pas, and so on, President Trump is far more articulate than either Former Prsident Biden or former VP Harris, And he is available for more than either of them as well.
I may disagree with something Mr. Trump on something, but, for the most part, whatever it is, I have heard him say it already. President Trump is no Churchill, but he is far more understandable than Harris or Biden ever were in recent years. One only has to watch a few videos from the last election to see that.

I don't quite understand your fist sentence.
Is "their" mean the demmies have a YT channel? If so, didn't know that.
Now, I do have a Blue Sky account. But I have to admit it is used as a means to find hookers. Sorta like this site. But as with YT, I don't do politics there.
Oh, and I remember the Dixiecrats. And I remember whose ever loving arms they were embraced by too.
I do remember that history. And ima glad you remembered where those KKK people went to
