Ratner had unprecedented access, and yet he couldn’t find a single interaction between donald and Melania trump where it looks like they’re interested in each other. The first time we hear the President’s voice he’s calling to talk about the election results. Melania says she didn’t watch them. Then she stares dead-eyed into the middle-distance while he raves about how amazing he was. Then she hangs up, looking distracted. And this is the documentary that’s supposed to make them look good.

Not for nothing, the director of this "documentary", for lack of a better word, was fired by Warner Bros and run out of Hollywood amid sexual misconduct allegations from six different women.
He's also mentioned, and his photos are seen, in the Epstein files.

Reviews from TDS riddled critics. It’s the biggest selling Documentary so far in ten years. You always believe the bullshit, not the facts. It grossed 8 million in just TWO days. It’s like being in the top half of the first inning.

No doubt there is a great documentary to be made about Melania Knauss, the ambitious model from out of Slovenia who married a New York real-estate mogul and then found herself cast in the role of a latter-day Eva Braun, but the horrific 'Melania' emphatically isn’t it. It’s one of those rare, unicorn films that doesn’t have a single redeeming quality. I’m not even sure it qualifies as a documentary, exactly, so much as an elaborate piece of designer taxidermy, horribly overpriced and ice-cold to the touch and proffered like a medieval tribute to placate the greedy king on his throne.
