Exclamation EVERY 213 Democrat who voted against this needs to be kicked out of Congress

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/onl...p-us-elections

First, YOU ALREADY need to be a U.S. Citizen to vote in the Federal Election and State Election, that is LAW since 1924.

Quote:
As of 1924, all states had banned noncitizens from voting in federal elections, and in 1996, Congress added criminal penalties. Noncitizens face up to five years in federal prison for even registering to vote and illegal voting can trigger immigration consequences, including deportation.
Second, for as long as I have been voting, an official PICTURE ID like a State Issued Driver's License or Identification Card or a U.S. Passport is required at the Polling Place to prove who you are before you are allowed to cast your vote.

This Save America Act law shouldn't even be required nor discussed!

Kicked out of Congress? For voting their conscience? That’s one of the most anti-American thoughts I’ve seen.

Whatever happened to Freedom of Speech, and the right of every Congressman and Congresswoman to vote their conscience, as opposed to rubber stamping every bill that gets a vote?

If the GOP wants reform, then they should DO THEIR FUCKING JOB and NEGOTIATE a bill that can pass!

This whole theory that a 1 vote majority in the House or Senate should get a full pass on negotiating is fucking asinine. We the collective people are paying all these elected people millions…..they should earn it!

Wanna fix the issue? Get rid of the retarded voting structure in both sides of Congress. Make every vote require at least a 60% threshold to pass.

elg…..

I am in total agreement with CG2024.

Well maybe not with the kicked out of congress part. . . .due process and all that. . . .But if there was a robust Voter ID process in place for voting, it is my guess that many of them would not retain their seat in future elections.

This vote, and this issue, do expose exactly what the progressive left view as their long game for the nation.

I just don't see what there is to negotiate.

Aren't those two statements rather contradictory?

A vote against the SAVE act would mean the voter doesn't think the SAVE act is required.

Quotes from the link
Quote:
"What better way to eliminate that distrust than to make sure that whoever votes in an American citizen who is truly eligible to vote?"

"Every single Democrat who voted no today proved they would rather let illegal aliens tip the scales in our national elections than protect your vote."
But the SAVE act does not meet that first quote. It has no requirement for existing registered voters to proved their citizenship. A photo ID does not prove citizenship.

So all those illegal aliens that the second quote refers to can still vote.

To accomplish its stated goals, the SAVE Act needs to go further with the requirement that every registered voter in the US must 're-register' and provide proof of citizenship (including every elected official).

Fucking MAGGIES. They hate the feds when it comes to the VRA, but they want to federalize elections if they can make it work for them. Dipshits all around.
