OOPP! They seem to show a smidgen of backing down on the lying front by backing off on the claims of the latest Minnesota shooting.

All the pandemic lies the party assured us were true. All the contrary evidence the party told us to ignore. All the professional careers ruined by all that. All the lives ruined too.
President Nixon (R. CA) tried to get away with lies about the Watergate cover up and fell in disgrace.
President Jonson (D. TX) lied ab out the Tonkin gulf attack . . .and thousands of lives were destroyed by the Viet Nam war. He seems to have gotten off Scot-free.
This thing about Rep Omar (D. MN) is not over . . .not yet. Same for Wals and others in high office in Minnesota.

I'm sure it wasn't a 'lie', perhaps just employing 'Trump math skills'
Quote:
The Trump White House updated its projections of how much children could earn from the newly launched Trump Accounts after criticism that its earlier calculations were nonsensical.
Following the accounts’ launch on Wednesday, the Trump Accounts website showed that investing $0 per year will result in a potential Trump Account recipient receiving $200,000 by age 55.
Yet, according to the Trump administration’s calculations, investing $250 per year over the same period would have left the recipient with just $192,000, less than if they had invested the money,

Oh. I thought this thread was about republican lies with donnys admin.
For him to open his trap without even a preliminary report about the lady he hates in Minnesota kinda gives airs to him twisting the narrative. But the fat orange blob has serious problems keeping his trap shut and ending up with massive feces on face when proof is opposite what he claims. He really should park his emotions.

It is my view that there is a wide gulf between the current administration and the previous one when it comes to dealing with what is happening in the government nd the country.
I am confident that historians can find misrepresentations of what-is-what in every administration going back to the late 1700s.
The point I was trying to bring forward is the that former President Biden was so tragically impaired that he could not function as the chief fexecutinv of a school board or home owner's association. Everyone could see that. Certainly, anyone with a similarly impaired relative or friend could. . .[h the passage of time. . . .as all of us will be. The Big Lie came from everyone around him and nearly everyone in the news world not working for Fox.
we know this because now those same folks are telling the behind the scenes truth in books and interviews.
Whatever the distortions or misrepresentations that may emerge from the current administration pale tin comparison to that Big Lie from the progressive left . . .and will shrink to inconsequential noise in the inevitable sweep of history.
But nott the Big Lie of the progressive left.

Lies or just backing off

“There is nowhere that you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally. Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else. We will find you. We will apprehend you. We will put you in a detention facility and we will deport you.”
Today
Super Bowl Host Committee
“We have been in daily contact with the NFL, which has confirmed the following with the Department of Homeland Security: There are no planned ICE immigration enforcement operations associated with SBLX,”
Or are there still plans, just not public?

I wonder if that applies to law abiding American citizens who currently love, but do not LIKE their country at this time?

I ain't gonna deny anything.
There are enough threads about old joey and such.
I only posted above since it seems this thread is about donny&co.
Lord knows there are enough threads about both.
Maybe we need to cut down on that number and combine both points to a single thead where there'll be a helluvalot more comments. Would make it easier to browse through the PF

Men, white and Hispanic, in my city overwhelmingly voted for Trump. I can only think of two I know, both lawyers, who voted for Biden and Harris. It's possible some other acquaintances may be closet Democrats.
Two friends dislike Trump and think he's nuts. And a big liar. But still they voted for him. And in their minds it wasn't even close. Why? Because Biden was a threat to their pocketbooks and their jobs. When a political candidate threatens to pick your pocket or deprive you of your livelihood, you vote for the other guy.
So, to answer your question, they think the other side is worse. And they're all liars on both sides anyway. Except Thomas Massie and Rand Paul of course.
