Gold will not only be money in the future. It's money now. The dollar is credit, its value derived through its origin as gold receipt. Once the dollar no longer has any gold value, it ceases to be credit, forcing people to use money (gold) directly without a credit intermediary.

Sadly- dollars backed by the full faith and credit....is watching a con-man driving the demise of both faith and credit in the ability to repay. Imagine borrowing more and more, and destroying the valuation of the dollar at the same time. Now add the destruction of relationships of our debt holders,..and the next traunch of government bonds will be at even higher interest rates.
