Not unexpected. The administration made numerous statements in public and court about its ability to pay refunds before the ruling.

The courts aren't letting Tariffman weasel out of it now

I guarantee they're going to use this as an excuse for not issuing tariff rebate checks they were babbling about (which were never coming anyway, but now at least they have a half-baked excuse).

Actually, it's a procedural step to return that issue to the Court of International Trade.

It means we're closer the refunds becoming reality.

Closer to becoming a reality for the small business owners, but not for anyone else. And those prices won't be coming back down. The damage has been done.

Large, small and medium. As well as a variety of individual citizens who got hit directly by the de minimus exemption ending.

If you own a business, you MIGHT see a tariff refund. Nobody else will, though, and those businesses won't be lowering their prices back to pre-tariff rates. The damage has been done. Thanks trump.
