What would you rather have?

FREE National Health Care, a nation with a decrepit military and a population of co-depended people constantly sucking on the teat of the Government

or

NO FREE National Health Care and a nation of strong self sufficient independent people with a MIGHTY military that can PROTECT them and keep the world SAFE?

By the way, President Trump didn't start any war in Iran.

This war has been going on since 1979 when Iranian Islamic Radical Students stormed the U.S. Embassy in Tehran, abducted, terrorized and beat 66 of our fellow Americans and kept 52 of them hostages for 444 days.

The Inept and Useless Jimmy Carter couldn't bring them home.

Those 52 Americans were only released by Iran because Ronald Reagan beat Carter in the 1980 election and Iran was scared the first thing Reagan would do after taking office is to Nuke them.

If Jimmy had won a 2nd term in the 1980 election, those 52 Americans would still be hostages and might had stayed in Iran until they were dead from torture, disease, neglect, abuse, and old age.

Iran actually released them within minutes after Reagan was sworn in as the 40th President of the United States on January 20th, 1981.

The aircraft carrying the 52 Americans left Tehran shortly after 12:00 PM EST, ending their 444-day captivity just after Jimmy Carter's presidency concluded.

They were released exactly as Reagan was delivering his inaugural address.

So AGAIN, President Trump didn't start this war with Iran, it's been going on since 1979 and he is merely doing what a Strong Nation Leader does, he is ending it.


p.s. that little 'wannabe play the leader' in North Korea needs to take notice. He might be next!

The whole premise here is a bit odd. Nobody is seriously arguing that the U.S. military isn’t stronger than Iran’s — the U.S. spends roughly $895 billion a year on defense compared with Iran’s roughly $15 billion, so the gap isn’t exactly subtle.

But the “strong military vs social programs” framing doesn’t really hold up in the real world. One of the countries most often held up as a model of military capability — Israel — has universal healthcare and other social programs we don’t have.

Incidentally, Israel is also the largest cumulative recipient of U.S. foreign aid, with hundreds of billions provided over the decades.

So apparently a country can have a capable military and social programs at the same time. If those things automatically created weak, dependent societies, someone should probably hurry over and explain that to Israel.

And while they’re there they might want to check on Israel’s universal healthcare and legal abortion access too. Clearly the whole country is doing “strength” wrong.

Israel clearly manages to maintain both a strong military and universal healthcare, which means the “one or the other” premise doesn’t really reflect how things work in practice.
