I knew all this at one time but I forgot it and it's been interesting to research it again:

The moon both orbits earth and rotates on its axis.
It takes approximately 27.3 days to make a full rotation which is the exact same amount of time it takes to orbit the earth.
This synchronized rotation known as tidal locking ensures that the same side of the moon faces earth at all times.

There is no dark side of the moon. Each side of the moon receives equal amounts of sunlight each day.

That being said, I am expecting to see a McDonalds when they zoom in on the 4K, high resolution pictures they are taking.

Don't forget Starbucks and a Dollar General.

Also the moon affects earth's temperature and the ocean's waves and the seasons.

Seeing a "Crescent Earth" from the moon when we're so used to seeing opposite is wild.

I hope to shoot some content there someday.

With no atmosphere, the moon really does take a beating from meteors and asteroids. Of course this is over billions of years.
Earth does too, fortunately, most burn up for us on Earth.

That's bull.

They splash down, go get them.

Who cares their sat phone is not connecting to the recovering boat that's a few yard from them.

Just go get them. Open the hatch.

Why do they need to have phone connection?

Also mission control is able to talk to them, why can't mission control relay messages from the vehicle to the recovery boat.

It's 19 minutes passed splash down.

Those helium balloons gonna deflate and the vehicle going to sink before the boats get them.

The whole mission has been flawless except this last part.

Needs to be redesigned and more efficient and polished.

They been in space for 9 days.

They want to be on dry land and not float around in the Pacific forever after splash down because of a stupid SAT phone.

Is NASA using Cricket cellular instead of Verizon?

Almost 1 hour later and they still haven't retrieved the crew.

Typical NASA INEFFICIENCY.
