COVID broke people

I’m sharing a pre-emptive post/comment for a meeting scheduled for later this evening. The last time I posted a review on this provider, I found myself in band camp.

So bored and curious, I read her old reviews. 7 pages of Fuck Yeses over a decade plus career. Not a single NO, but tons of dissenting comments and admittedly, some of those are fair and deserved. But not a single NO review. In the process, I discovered some dude who goes by PK. He is without a doubt, IMHO, is the legit ECCIE OG after reading his reviews and his comments. The comments of other members from those years are also different and sadly some of those folks have retired, but my thought was damn, that’s the forum I want to experience. Dudes were sharing great intel. And then it became clear, the attitudes and comments took a wild turn right around COVID. Just petty and caustic. Myself included. I travel a ton and I don’t ever recall people losing their shit at the airport. Now I expect it. Sure, the airline and provider industry’s service, dependability, and quality have declined, but what hottie wants to be face fucked and pounded into submission? There’s nothing wrong with being rough, but porn has fucked shit up too. As much as it sucks for us, it’s gotta suck for them as well. GDS and BSC men are amongst us as well. That’s my soapbox.

So for the sake of civility, I get it. People are tired and frustrated, but please refrain from commenting about not paying for content or devolving into comments about GPS and BSC. Read the review and take it for what it is — if she shows up, but I’ve never been stood up or rolled by her. So to avoid the same questions that consistently pop up around this provider, I was asked, but did not buy content. $$$$ for the hour. But knowing what I’ve experienced, even if I had to pay $ for content, when she’s on, she’s better than my Colombian hotties for overall experience and their going rate is $$$$$ which many are happy to pay.

She also said she’s not seeing people very much anymore so it might be too late for newbies. If she wants to shift her business to selling content, I don’t really care. As for me, fingers crossed she doesn’t disappoint.

What COVID did to us as a society is going to be studied for decades. I can feel it in myself, and I see it in the people around me too. There’s just… something different now. It’s hard to explain, but it’s there.


I’ve read a bit about it, and it turns out a lot of people went through the same thing—feeling more isolated, more anxious, just kind of off. It wasn’t even just about being alone, it was like people lost that sense of connection, even when they weren’t technically by themselves. All those small, everyday interactions we used to have without thinking—those disappeared, and it actually hit people harder than we realized.


And I think it changed how we live day to day, too. People got used to being online more, staying up later, pulling back socially. Even now, it feels like some of that never fully reset. Like we all adapted to something weird, and part of us just stayed there.


The only people I’ve noticed who seem a little less affected are the ones who already knew how to kind of shut things off mentally—like healthcare workers or people used to high-stress environments. It’s like they already had that switch.


But for a lot of us, it didn’t just pass. It stuck in quieter ways—like stress that doesn’t really go away, or feeling a little disconnected, or like things still aren’t completely “normal,” even though they’re supposed to be.


It really does feel like we all went through something together… and we’re still carrying pieces of it around, whether we realize it or not.

First, hats off to George for a great post and to Fruit for a solid follow up.

Second, Loki PK is definitely the OG. He pops up every once in a while but he is seriously missed here as a regular contributor.

Third, I never connected it with COVID before, but the world is a lot harsher and angrier than it used to be. You see and feel it every day in big and small ways. In the never ending road rage or our politics that seems to have spun out of control in both directions. It seems like people want to be triggered - they are just looking for an excuse to explode over trivial things.

I think it predated COVID - but COVID has definitely been an accelerant.

Pretty sure I know which provider OP is talking about. When I texted with her, seemed like buying content was just for first timers. Couple that with her being outcall only so add in cost of room and sort of mixed reviews so I decided to pass. If those business practices work the provider n client good for both of you.

Think meanness and angry politics were certainly there pre-covid. Pandemic probably accelerated or some chicken and egg situation going on. I haven't really read up on this subject, but wonder to what extent COVID impact was societally in other countries without political and cultural upheaval we have had for some time now

Great thread and here is my story. I NEVER bought into the lie that this was the most deadly disease since the Black Death or a shot with 8 boosters was going to save my life especially since it was released in 8 or 9 months with no liability whatsoever for the Big Pharmaceutical companies.The only people I unloaded on were those who tried pushing me to get the "Clot Shot", and left them with no doubt that it would be a cold day in Hell that I got one. I took up fly fishing, bought a new motorcycle and stayed busy while NEVER wearing an "Obedience Mask". I had a great time learning new things and never followed "The Rules". To this day I see people outside with no one near them wearing their "Obedience Mask" and just shake my head. Any wonder why we have a mental health crisis in this country?

If Alexis wasn’t so bat shit crazy over her texting turrets, I’d see her every week. I got to see her one time a couple of years ago. She ripped off the cover and wanted raw dog. She was great… but again. What a pain in the fucking ass she is and THAT keeps me away with not a tear shed.
