Default Co-ed Forum -- Are We ALL just Paper Tigers?

OK. So it used to be, back in the days of Darth Vader and his merry band of followers, that men used to post man-to-man stuff in the "Locker Room." Some stuff got posted in the "Bat Cave" or "Pig Sty."

People used to post items of co-educational interest (that's stuff of interest to both -- not all three -- sexes) in the co-ed forums.

But nowadays on ECCIE, it seems as though ALL the "action" is in the Co-Ed forum. And most of it - or at least it certainly appears so - is "guy on guy" action... by that I mean, guys trying to out-dick the next guy. More than a pissing contest; more like a "pork sword fight" tournament, as someone once so eloquently put it. Hobbyists posturing, calling out the providers, seeing how rude everybody can be to each other, etc., etc., blah, blah, blah.

Certainly, in the brave new world of ECCIE, the Co-Ed forum is the place where men can be men (as long as they're properly shielded behind a pseudonym) and girls can go apeshit on them.

But as we all know, there are only a few of each involved in these chingazos. A few guys baiting the gals, and vice versa.

My question is why is this chit germane to a co-ed forum? If you've got to tell your pals what a whore someone is, why do it in public when you've got a safe and secure private forum in which to do so?

Girls, if you want to call a guy an asshole, why not use the "alternate" forum that you've created to replace the Powder Room (still don't know why y'all got that taken way from you, but I'm not a mindreader.)?

Something here seems awfully askew.

I'm going to recommend that we start a new forum just for guy on guy bashing called "The Closet." And that we restore the Powder Room, so girls can call us dickweeds if they like.

This bullshit about "BE MAN ENOUGH TO INSULT THE LADIES TO THEIR FACE" shit is false bravado. Nobody I know -- even the roughest, toughest, WWE kinda hobbyists -- want to be repulsive to the girls. Even if they SAY it's just about the money. We all know different.

And none of the ladies here who are in "the business" want to have to play games just to keep the "bad boys" from hurting their business.

I think we're ALL a bunch of pussies hiding behind our keyboards. Ladies, you know better. Some of you have seen some or most of us who Macho-up the board. You say differently. Even compliment some of the bad boys for being gentlemen. Whassup with that? Is this just a charade?

What do y'all think? Do you think anybody in the hobby benefits by all the tough talk? Or should we all just go fuck ourselves? Or, as some have suggested, is this totally normal and have I gone round the bend?

You know just as well as the rest of us that this statement is inaccurate. There is no safe and secure area on this or any board. If I could mention the un-mentionable website as proof, I would, but cant. I say to just nut it up. If anyone has an issue, than discuss it in public where the ladies (or laides) can equally respond to the alligation rather than doing it where they "never know" its happening.

Yssup, You seem very unhappy here over the last several months. Its almost as if you have another agenda other than coming here for personal pleasure. Not judging, just an observation.

That is a statement that a lot of people around here have started to notice.....

On the board and off the board Yssup's melt down is a topic a lot of people are familiar with.

He seems to be struggling to find something here on the board to fill his time and does not seem to be accomplishing it very well....

Open and frank discussions of the business aspect of a hooker may not appeal to some but it IS what the board is about. Information about clients and escorts.

It's only a problem for lonely old fools with no life off the boards trying to glamorize some prostitute into "girl next door status".

Certainly, in the brave new world of ECCIE, the Co-Ed forum is the place where men can be men (as long as they're properly shielded behind a pseudonym) and girls can go apeshit on them.

Why do the White Knights and Pussy Whipped only defend these Prostitutes in CoEd rather then in the Men's Only Forums? Because you and other's are posturing for the attention of some hooker because there is an emptiness in your life and wallet you are looking to fill here, online, through interaction with women only looking for a way into your wallet...

You know it's different? These ladies are stopping by to visit with you just to shoot the shit? When your hungry and ready to sit at the table for a bit, one of the hookers here is dropping by to have dinner with you at no charge? You have the companionship and friendship of these prostitutes in your life on the phone and throughout your day without your wallet involved?

And none of the ladies here who are in "the business" want to have to play games just to keep the "bad boys" from hurting their business.

This is not a Social Networking site to fill some empty spot in your heart man.....

It's a website for the exchange of information available on Prostitutes. The CoEd forum allows them to interact with prospective johns....

To answer YOUR question
" is this totally normal and have I gone round the bend?"

It seems that every day a few more call you out and answer that question ..... You sir.... are WAY AROUND THE BEND......

I find it quite ironic that while most of us profess to have hated the politics of the "P", we still harken back to the days of yore. The "P" gone and this seems to have taken it's place. Just remember, this place is different. It has a different philosophy, owners, viewpoint, direction, guidelines, and processes.

People used to post items of co-educational interest (that's stuff of interest to both -- not all three -- sexes) in the co-ed forums.

I am not sure what 3 sexes you are referring to here. I would also pose your very own question about this thread. What does this subject have to do with items of co-educational interest? What about this thread addresses the "hobby" per se?

But nowadays on ECCIE, it seems as though ALL the "action" is in the Co-Ed forum. And most of it - or at least it certainly appears so - is "guy on guy" action... by that I mean, guys trying to out-dick the next guy. More than a pissing contest; more like a "pork sword fight" tournament, as someone once so eloquently put it. Hobbyists posturing, calling out the providers, seeing how rude everybody can be to each other, etc., etc., blah, blah, blah.

While there is a lot of hue and cry about the Coed Forum, the simple fact is that the views and post counts don't lie. People seem to want to read the threads that some consider controversial. We alll know that for a fight to occur, it requires more than one person and there never seems to be any lack of willing participants. How long would a "tournament" last if only one "pork sword" showed up? It wouldn't be much of a tournament, so if we really dislike some of these threads, it would seem to be pretty easy to stop them. On the surface, some threads, like this one, seem to be solely for the purpose of stirring the chit up. How is this one any less "posturing" than the others? I am seldom rude to anyone, and yet there are those that have sought to have me removed from staff because they did not like my opinion or position on a given subject. That doesn't make either one of us right or wrong, it just means we are human and have differing points of view.

Certainly, in the brave new world of ECCIE, the Co-Ed forum is the place where men can be men (as long as they're properly shielded behind a pseudonym) and girls can go apeshit on them.

The last time I looked, everyone here, male and female (and perhaps that 3rd sex you referred to) hide behind a pseudonym. Frankly, since we all have pseudonyms, are we sure that the men are really men and the women are really women?? By the way, this is not a new concept. I have been on various boards since 2000 and have never been on one that did not use pseudonyms so I am not sure why it is an issue. A lot of us know each other outside of cyberspace in our true identities and for the most part that does not seem to be harmful or risky.

But as we all know, there are only a few of each involved in these chingazos. A few guys baiting the gals, and vice versa.

Actually, if you look at views and post counts, the "chingazos" attract far more attention than the "other" threads. There are more than a "few" participants and more than a "few" are the very ones that seem to complain about it yet they can't stay away and let them die a natural death as they would if no one was interested. The truth is, people like to watch train wrecks and all of the bitching in the world will not change that fact! Then they like talking about the train wreck almost as much as they liked watching it.

My question is why is this chit germane to a co-ed forum? If you've got to tell your pals what a whore someone is, why do it in public when you've got a safe and secure private forum in which to do so?

First, we all know the aforementioned safe and secure place has NEVER been safe and secure! Posts there are pretty much common knowledge is short order so let's not kid ourselves. I would like for it to be safe and secure, but the reality is that it is not and never has been. You could ask the same question about this thread. What about this is germane to the Coed Forum? Why is it not in the private area?

Girls, if you want to call a guy an asshole, why not use the "alternate" forum that you've created to replace the Powder Room (still don't know why y'all got that taken way from you, but I'm not a mindreader.)?

The Powder room is still right where it always was. The rules for admission have changed to make it more secure and if there is one area that is secure, it is the PR. Not sure why you think it was "taken away" but I can assure you that it is still there so you don't need to hire the Great Kreskin to find it. Sometimes when some of us are being assholes, we need to be told so if we were unaware that our behavior had strayed from the path, we can correct it. Others know fully well when they are being assholes and hey, they need to be called on it now and again.

Something here seems awfully askew.

Differing viewpoints, perhaps?

I'm going to recommend that we start a new forum just for guy on guy bashing called "The Closet." And that we restore the Powder Room, so girls can call us dickweeds if they like.

As stated earlier, the PR is still there so no need to restore it. If I am acting like a dickweed and a lady wants to tell me so, she can always send a PM if she so desires. You can make suggestions for additional Forums here:
http://www.eccie.net/forumdisplay.php?f=79
The National Men's Locker Room seems to be the appropriate place for the kind of activity that you are suggesting.

I actually agree with some of this statement, but many ladies appreciate constructive criticism. I don't think any of us want to be "insulted" to our faces. It is, for the most part, however, about the money. If friendships are made along the way so be it, but just like our real world jobs, if we weren't being paid, we wouldn't show up.

And none of the ladies here who are in "the business" want to have to play games just to keep the "bad boys" from hurting their business.

I don't see how anyone can hurt a ladies business when she is understanding and meeting the agreed upon expectations of her clientele. If I were seeing a lady and she was doing all the right things from TCB to BCD, no one could influence me to stop seeing her. Most business, no matter what field, are hurt because the business was not taken care of and the clients agreed upon expectations ceased to be met on more than one occasion. We have seen some examples of gamesmanship by hobbiests with the ladies, but more and more the ladies are saying "No Mas" and stopping this on their own.

I think we're ALL a bunch of pussies hiding behind our keyboards. Ladies, you know better. Some of you have seen some or most of us who Macho-up the board. You say differently. Even compliment some of the bad boys for being gentlemen. Whassup with that? Is this just a charade?

My problem is that I am too big to hide so I don't even try and most of the so called "bad boys" don't either. I, for one, hope that what few compliments I have gotten from the ladies I have met here (Shameless plug for compliments here ladies. Please don't leave me hanging!!!!) were sincere. I have learned that for both ladies and gentlemen, that sometimes the "board persona" is very different than the person that you meet outside of cyber space. Besides, it is hard to play charades while hiding behind a pseudonym and a keyboard!!

What do y'all think? Do you think anybody in the hobby benefits by all the tough talk? Or should we all just go fuck ourselves? Or, as some have suggested, is this totally normal and have I gone round the bend?
Not sure on this one. Perhaps you should look behind you and if you can't see where you came from then..................Oh well!!

See how easy it is to pick apart everything that one says if one so desires. Whether serious or in jest, it is easy to take the written word and manipulate it to a differing viewpoint. It doesn't make me right and you wrong or vice-versa, it just makes us humans that have the abiltiy to think and reason.

Let's go back to having fun, shall we?

We will see you in the Betty Ford Clinic or Looney Bin!

He can not see any of this. I hurt his feelings so bad on the big bad message board of bullies so I am on ignore.

Complain and Complain all you want it is OK we understand.....

When he is given constructive opinions this is how he responds....

You kind of lose the ability to accuse others of hiding behind a keyboard when they are out meeting people, having drinks with providers and guys, not making a secret of where they are while you're the one that refuses to meet anyone except for a few sessions.

Yeah, security risks... Valid reason to stay in your man-cave, but quit crying about others hiding behind the keyboard. They certainly are not.

There has been a lot of news lately on cyber bullying, it is happening in highschool and college. Worst case scenario a girl committed suicide. I don't think it will ever stop it is part of human nature, just like racism. But we are all adults here, so I don't think anything said here will actually hurt someone. Or lets just say don't take anything seriously this is the Internet.

I am happy to hear that you are having fun. that is what is most important about any hobby. Have fun!!

Not sure what voodoo you are talking about? I don't believe in religions period. In my opinion they are all about control and have nothing to do with the devine, but that's just my opinion.

Amazing ... If I want my opinion, I'll ask you to give it to me!

My bad for trying to play in your sandbox folks. If you don't like what I post, then stay out of my threads -- a wise ass, er, man told me that once.

Anybody else surprised by the diversity of respondents to this thread?
