Another report I read indicated that they used drones with cameras along with every other tech the CIA has available including infrared to develop an idea of what the interior of the place might look like to avoid as many surprises as possible.

All that intel was given to the SEAL teams to do their mock up and training.

The first you cited specifically said they didn't know which was so silly, I had to comment even though I try to stay away from political threads. The others talk about surveillance because they were trying to find out if he was there. If they already knew he was there, then they wouldn't need to be doing surveillance to find out. Once, again the articles you cite contradict the point you have somehow drawn from them. So, when you say you've read articles that Obama KNEW he was there, I can only suspect you're as usual because you have yet to cite a single article from the entire world wide web that says Obama knew bin Laden was there 8 or 9 months ago.

So, to make this simple for you, here's your choices:

1. Quit posting on the thread. This would show prudence so I doubt you'll choose this.

2. Admit you were wrong when you said there were articles showing Obama knew where bin Laden was for 9 (or 8) months. This would show character, so I again doubt you'll choose this.

3. Actually cite an article that supports your claim. This would show resourcefulness. Doubtful.

4. Make another long, unorganized post unable to distinguish between knowing and suspecting and once again failing to address the issue, with maybe an insult or two thrown in to distract from you getting called on posting a BS claim. This would show more lack of intelligence as well as lack of character to admit when you're wrong. I predict you'll take this route.

I do not understand this, I have 2 daughters that are 1/8 Otoe Missouri, not a big tribe but they do get about $700 a qtr from their casino money and they are related to Ronald Regan. Yep. They knew OBL was there. They wouldn't have gone to the trouble to build a mock up if they didn't.

It was also a "kill only" mission. BHO wasn't going to make the same mistake that Bush did with Hussein. Just kill him and dump the body into the ocean. Don't have to worry about waterboarding the guy, a trial in civilian court, al Qaeda rescue attempt, media access, etc.

I'm not sure about this but my guess is that OBL was shot in the back of the head. That's why they aren't releasing the photos.

They build a mock-up when they know they're going on a mission. It doesn't matter who they're going after. The relative 'trouble' of building a mock-up is like the cost of buying condoms for a session with one of your favorite providers.

I tend to believe that it was a kill mission too, but I won't state it like I know it because I don't, and neither does anyone else. I do think it was the right way to go for this piece of shit, even if Michael Moore disagrees. We need to see more of this stuff, not less.
