Facts and logic forbid me from being a Democrat or Republican, or Liberal or Conservative. It also proves that I must not know what the fuck I'm talking about, since I don't watch either Fox News or CNN or any other of the alphabet soup "news" channels.

2. Defeat a candidate (i.e. anti-candidate advertising)
3. Promote an agenda or a belief.
Quickest citation I could find on short notice - http://usgovinfo.about.com/od/thepol.../aboutpacs.htm
Critical passage: "However, there is no limit to how much PACs can spend on advertising in support of candidates or in promotion of their agendas or beliefs. PACs must register with and file detailed financial reports of monies raised and spent to the Federal Election Commission."
To the extent that Sarah's bus tour is promoting a set of beliefs or an agenda - and you'd have to do some pretty wild gyrations to contend that it wasn't - it's perfectly legal and within FEC laws for her PAC to pay for it. Sarah would only be in violation if she didn't file reports.
Deacon, don't be so quick to believe what Longer says. Like most libs, he hasn't a fucking idea of what he's talking about.

I guess you're saying that she's just a crook, not a criminal.
I tried to find out if SarahPAC was a 501(c)3 or 501(c)4, but the FEC webpage show that it is neither. Confusing. Check it out for yourself.
I read somewhere that SarahPAC has spent less than 1% on candidates...but $14,000 to de-ice her private plane in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She spends more on hotel rooms per year than on candidates.

No, what I'm saying is that you have once again gotten your ass handed to you in a debate because you know nothing and offer nothing. See, if you had even had a modicum of understanding about what the PAC is for, you would know that they are strictly limited on what they can spend directly on candidates (i.e. donations) but are unlimited on other political activities. Your buddy George Soros has been doing this for years. Bugs the shit out of you that someone as 'dumb' as Sarah is doing it so effectively, doesn't it?

If his posts are based on facts and logic, then he is a moderate, not a liberal or conservative (such as yourself), which does mean you don't represent yourself with facts and logic. Liberals and conservatives let others do their their thinking for them, while moderate are open to discussion and reason. Unfortunately, the liberals and conservatives have a stranglehold on their perspective parties, especially the conservatives. Look what they did to Newt, who is more moderate.

The limits are determined by the type of PAC. Show me how smart you are and tell us what kind of PAC SarahPAC is. 527? 501(c)3? 501(c)4?

Uh oh, a battle of intelligence with Longer! Be afraid, be very afraid! Oh, but you already said you couldn't find out what kind of PAC SarahPAC is. I think you want us to do your work for you. You think she's operating illegally. I think it is up to you to explain how.

Fellas, I've received a few RTMs about people being rude to each other in the Sandbox. I'm gonna tell you that if you choose to engage in a discussion about politics or religion, you pretty much have to accept any rude BS that gets hurled your way.

But Captain, they called me NAMES! It hurt! I was even called a "moderate" and a "neocon". Cried all night, I did!
Oh, still waiting on what kind of PAC SarahPAC is.
