I was also looking for his thread about being followed/stalked. This hobby that we all participate in and hopefully all enjoy should be FUN for all. I enjoy OSDs posts and also the little back and forth messages we have been sending.I admire him standing up for himself, and hope he will get through and resolve these issues peacefully and without any unwanted consequences. All I know is that OSD is a pure stand up guy on this board and I wouldn't want to screw with him......This is bulls**t. The freakin pimps can spout all sorts of crap and Offshore gets banned. WTF!

OSD is NOT BANNED... this is a self imposed ban... if you doubt me .. .go to his profile and look up his infractions ... you will see none...
With regards to the thread, yes i removed it... It contained a threat... i had to... I did ak him to post the details as an alert... he has chosen not to do that... his perogative... but please, do not give the staff any grief for either of this moves... it was all self imposed...

Just one question.... I have seen this said before and I do not understand. How is a ban self imposed? If it is just a premium access member changing their user title, then that is not a self imposed ban. That is just the user changing their title is all. In order for a ban to be self imposed, the person would have to have access to the ACTUAL ban button to be technical.

I also was not aware of being able to look up ones infractions, let alone other peoples.

edit: I just went and looked at mine. Still makes me LOL! Makes me wonder how many more points I need to get banned.

Thank you for clarifying the OSD ban. I did read his post and I went back to respond to OSD and it was gone. I agree with your decision to remove it and your reasons why you did so. I also think that OSD was just pushed a little over his limit and responded in anger and disgust with the situation he felt that he was put in. I believe many of us would also have responded this way also. I was hoping to send him a message to ask him to step back,take a few deep breaths, count to ten a few times, think things through about all the possible ramifications to whatever actions he may take. I have learned to re-read any possible message or e-mail that I may want to send to make sure that it is ok BEFORE I push the send button. Plus sometimes it is often NOT a good idea to have something in writing that may one day come back to bite you in the ass.
OSD, I hope you are OK and look forward to your return soon. With you in exile, who am I going to send messages to ??? Do you think that maybe I can try to catch up to your number of total posts if I send 50 a day for the next 3 months straight ???You better come back before I try to do this.
