I tried Roscoe's in edwardsville last week and as a competition veteran of over 100 BBQ Contest I would enter their ribs instead of my own which I prefer over all.

I tried Zarda a couple of times... not my thing at all really. But some people really swear by them

I'm with you FS...Zarda is barely adequate. I don't get the attraction people seem to have either. My ex, for example, she loved Zarda. She also loved Applebee's, ergo she was really into shitty food. Maybe people who hate food dig Zarda?

Anyway, I'd rank KC area ribs like this:

1) Oklahoma Joe's
2) Jackstack
3) Smokestack
4) It doesn't matter. You really need to be going to one of those three.
