				 The attraction escapes me!

That is for those ridiculously high, many times clear, platform shoes so many ladies wear in their ads. Won't mention name, but there is a strikingly beautiful, sexy woman advertising in the Weekend Lineup section today; gorgeous! But those shoes truly detract from the overall. I understand heels make legs look good and certainly understand the heels or boots in bed deal, trust me! But these over the top, stripper platforms, especially the clear ones, are almost cliche' silly in my humble opinion. Am I in the majority here or have I just missed the boat (wouldn't be the first time!)?

Jules, humor me, I'm an old guy! Lol, actually they are just so negatively distracting to me. Just wondering if I'm a lone wolf...

Believe it or not, I think that they're silly looking, too! Especially the clear platforms that have the money slot built into them!
I think that I will just stick to the more classier feminine heels!

Interesting topic. The first thing I notice about a woman's appearance is her shoes---even in civilian life. Part of it is because I have worked for footwear companies my entire career but part of it is because I think a woman's selection in footwear says alot about her personality, taste and to some extent demographics. There are providers on this site who I find appealing but solely on the basis of the shoes they have on in their Showcase pics, I have opted not to see them. Using footwear as one variable to base my decisions as to which Provider/s to visit has probably led to me missing out on some great ladies but we all have our preferences, hot buttons, criteria, etc.
And, Lana, I am with you on the whole acryllic platform shoe thing. They are a huge turn-off to me!!

Shoes? Feet? Hmm, maybe I need to widen my view, look down sometimes?

Shoes don't distract or attract me in pictures. Only downside is in bed, some of these clod-hoppers could really hurt if they caught you in a wrong place...

i guess in san antonio, the other shoe has a spot for their sexually oriented business / dancers license [unless they repealed that law].

seriously, money slot built into them??
talk about taking the fun out of it.
next thing you know, there'll be a spot where they can list what they're going to do w/ your donation. or start selling advertising spots, like pro athletes and race car drivers :^)

Most guys I know do not mean "stripper heels" when they say they like heels on a lady.
 Just an observation.

I don't care for them either. On the other hand, it's a bias that's easily overcome.

Pumps, prefer open toe. No soles over an inch please and you can leave em on in bed.

Agree 100% with the OP. A girl in an ad with well cared for bare feet looks much sexier than one in 4" or larger heels. Looks silly in porn, looks even sillier in real life.

I love heels on a woman, but not the clear things with 4 inches under her feet and another 6 inched under her heels.
I have a UTR sweetie who occasionally wears heels for me. Incredible with her little crotch length skirt. If she keeps wearing them with her super short shorts, she going to get nailed in the Walmart parking lot. LOL

There was one pair with fish swimming in them, but other than that, give me the classic 5" pump, or maybe sandle if she's got pretty feet.
Many short girls go for the platforms to make them taller, but when a 95# girl puts 10# of anything on her feet, like stilts for example, her ability to walk naturally, let alone sexily, is lost. Better to go barefoot at that point.

I like tall girls who are not afraid to wear high heels. Most want to play down their height by going to 2-3 inch. I say go for it!
