THAT... was pretty much, the OP's point.

Attempting to cover it up with AOL polls taken in Mississippi does not impress anyone! I can make a poll's results say anything I want it to. So what?

He'll have you trying every possible combination of words and ideas to get your point across and thus divert you from ever getting an answer out of him.

The "I know you are but what am I?" strategy. He will never directly answer your question or acknowledge you have a valid point.

 Cause he's just sayin'.

I'd like to see a poll by a reputable polling company before deciding that 46% of the people in Mississippi are racist. Also, while opposing interracial marriage certainly has racist roots, it's not the same as lynching or burning crosses. In fact, (tongue in cheek) 46% might indicate a trend toward tolerance among Mississippians. Just sayin'.

Absolutely I deny it. This is the newspaper that all but sucked George Bush and Dick Cheney's dicks during the war in Iraq. Through the now widely discredited reporting of Judith Miller and Michael Gordon they became nothing more than mouthpieces for government propaganda. They just repeated any lie that the administration wanted them to tell. All for a little access to supposedly "inside" information -- all of which was nothing but lies.

Likewise, they ignored the Bush administration running up budgets that had they occurred in a Democratic administration under similar circumstances, would have elicited howls of outrage.

	You said nothing...as usual.

And dodged,........as usual, not knowing the difference between book reports and AP reports.

And no thanks needed. Anyone could refute you with equal ease.Quote:

	Guardian?

You ask for reputable? Let's put that aside for a moment.

If it certainly has racist roots, does it matter they aren't lynching or burning crosses? When does it cross a line?

When is it too much for you to have an asshole's back for him?Quote:

I'm not disputing the poll, I'd just like to see a Pew Research, or some unbiased polling company do the same poll. I don't know how the questions were worded, or what else went on in the poll. You can make a poll say anything you want by who you select as your subjects, and how you word the questions. PPP is a company with a liberal bias. All I'm saying is I'm reserving judgment until a more reputable firm does the survey.
And besides, TTH, you promised long ago to provide me proof that the Tea Party was racist. I still haven't seen it.

If this poll doesn't show it, I have no idea what you want. The Tea Party is the Republican Party. Period.
And a link to the questions and cross tabs are listed in the articles I posted.
http://www.publicpolicypolling.com/p...MS_0407915.pdf
Q14 is the one on interracial marriage.
Do you think interracial marriage should be legal or illegal?
 Legal......................... .............................. ........ 40%
 Illegal .............................. .............................. .. 46%
 Not sure .............................. ............................ 14%

Sounds pretty biased to me!!! |

The poll shows nothing, for the reasons stated before. You can't prove up your point. I don't even like the Tea Party, but they are not racist. Ignorant, yes. Racist, no.

So the 43 percent of the Republican Party that are racists just happen to be the few Republicans (who otherwise reason would suggest would be the most moderate Republicans) who don't support the Tea Party movement? On what basis can you possibly conclude that? Only moderate Republicans are racists??!!!!

Get over it, TTH. A left leaning poll proves nothing. The article doesn't even mention the Tea Party. It is innuendo, and would never pass as evidence in court. You know better than this. You just get off on shouting "Racist" when you can't think of anything else to say. It's obvious that you have a lot of latent racist tendencies, that you try to cover by trying to appear indignant.

Yes I'm denying it, if you mean on the news pages

their editorial bias is left.
just like the WSJ's editorial bias is way right.
but both report the NEWS impartially as they can

unlike Faux News, which is pure propaganda wall to wall
