Legal question for Providers

I have been a little under the weather, and I was watching the idiot box. There was a bust on a show I was watching, and they said that the young lady was a habitual professional. Accord to them she was being charged with a felony which a carried a maximum jail time of three years and/or $5,000 fine. If you get arrested a certain number of time are you charged with a felony here in Arkansas? I know that in Mississippi this individual got drunk and stole an old pickup and was given life in prison because he had two previous convictions.

I'm pretty sure that the penalties increase with each subsequent arrest (for the same offense), but I'm not sure about the particulars.

It must be 3 or more felonies, not misdemeanors...then you are looking at county lockup if there is space...Do we have any providers who could address this issue for us? What have you been told by your lawyer or the judge?
