The construction will be going on for a long time yet. Even without that the traffic on 281 around and north of 1604 during rush hour will be a problem.

I vote for Airport area or Med Center. I find the 1604 and 281 or 1604 and I 10 area bad for me as I often hobby around 4 PM and hate the traffic up that way around that time.

I'll be taking a serious look at the location and make sure my place has easy access for clients. I have a list of places and Im working with a Realtor as well. Thanks again for the input.

The 281 and 1604 area is great to live in. The construction is there, but it is advancing quite rapidly (IMO). Once it is done, it should aliviate some of the congestion at peak hours. There have been some improvements in the traffic light system further up 281 that make traffic flow smoother already.

Hazel - I live 281/1604 and most of my work is (has been) in the Medical Center.

There is really no earthly way one can plan where they are going to live around current and/or proposed construction. If so ===> you could be living anywhere from Sea World to Randolph Air Force Base and still be avoiding construction. As noted above -- most of the work is done at night and is progressing nicely. We have experienced no problems at all and travel quite a bit every day. This is not Houston, DFW nor Atlanta.

You are receiving great advice and in relationship to Ezra's suggestion ===> I totally agree with her; however, I think some folks do not share the same level of comfort that she and I do.

Have a safe Holiday.

I guess I was thinking that sometimes you meet a client at a bar or restaurant, and if it is near your civvie job, you may run into coworkers, and you would have to explain (or endure any suspicion about) the guy, possibly age-not-appropriate, that you are with.

Nah. I know what you're talking about but once we go public I always do my research prior. But my civie life is much more excusable to be w clients at lunch time I wouldn't be drinking though if I also was indeed on my lunch break. Lol.

Dear Santa,

re: addendum to list

Sorry to bother you again but I was wondering if
you wouldn't mind also including a considerable amount
of US Currency, (denominations of $100.00, please)
in my stocking which was hung with care. HAZEL is moving to town and...
well....tu sabes.

I'll leave you some extra cookies for your trouble.

Thank you,
SKF

HAZEL210,

This is great news!

The 281-1604/Stone Oak area is nice but the rush hour traffic S U C K S !!!!!

IH10-1604 would be my suggestion...
(mainly 'cuz it's so much more convenient for *some* people. hint-hint )

There's lots of good suggestions here Hazel. Do some checking first and move wherever you're most comfortable. Just remember...

"If you move here, I will come" .

Regards,
SKF
.

Hazel-

If you are serious about Krav and not just kickboxing, the center is on Fredericksburg just south of 410. Very convenient for the Medical Center. They have a pretty nice setup. The 1604 281 are is convenient for those that live out there, but the traffic really does suck during rush hour. No way I'd endure it unless I lived and worked very close.

That being said, nowhere in San Antonio is there traffic like Houston and Dallas, so we are Pretty lucky. I don't think you can go wrong with Kloe's advice.

Actually, a new Krav Maga location is opening in the north 1604 area (1604 and Blanco to be exact).
