It's not just ECCIE, it's life in general. And what is important is BOTH "what you say" AND "how you say it." Some things in life are not joking matters. For example, I have a son with autism. Using the word "retarded" in any communications is therefore inappropriate, sarcasm or none.

You chose to make comments with racial overtones. Those are inappropriate as well. Therefore they were offensive. The sooner you own up to that, the better off you will be in life, not just these boards.

I wish you all the best but you need to make this right. Your last post was an explanation and an excuse, not an apology.

...I apologize for any references to Fucktards and/or Fucktardiots. I in no way imply that being physically or developmentally retarded is a form of human indignity. I apologize publicly for ever using these words frequented on ECCIE (no matter what, we become conditioned by our 'chosen' environments). This is by nature against how I am as a person. As of today and going forward, I will never use these terms or references and APOLOGIZE to you and your son.
