The ruling was not that he is a citizen. The ruling was that he is "a natural born citizen"; that is the constitutional requirement.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is a citizen but he can never be president because he is not a natural born citizen.

Hmmm, I'm waiting for all the birther idiots who posted up in the other string on this subject to weigh in here. I seem to recall that this was thought to be their moment in the sun....that Obama would be giving a deposition and testifying at trial and, that he would break down and finally admit that it was all true, his entire existence from childhood an invention of the insidious forces of the evil left, who have been planning on his taking over of the country since the day he was born.
Wait....how old was Obama when Kennedy was assassinated?!?! My god.....was that little girl with the fake feet photographed on the grassy knoll?
