It's a bit presumptuous to assume her demons led to her death. Regardless, I'm sympathetic, even if it turns out to be her own fault. At the height of her career she was a goddess. The voice, the beauty, the magnetic personality; she had it all. Tragic.

Make yourself well and save your life.
Great statement.
When it comes down to the final things in life. That is all there is.

It has been stated she died in a tub, most likely drown is what I have been hearing. Either way it sounds like it was a direct result of a substance, legal or otherwise.

The coroner results are on lockdown. I doubt they will return
with "Natural causes".

Regardless...lets see what the cause is...But her family is hurting and frankly we all have demons!
She was beautiful back in the day and wow what a voice!
Few of us will ever know this but my belief is with fame/money comes alot of temptations and opportunities that could be destructive and if your not strong it will get you!

Unfortunately legal has become as big of a problem as the illegal. Just ask Heath Ledger.

I found this out a little late since I was busy dancing the night away in Las Vegas this last weekend, but it makes me VERY sad. She had an AMAZING voice. It doesnt matter HOW she died, the point is, she is gone. RIP Whitney! You will not be forgotten!

So very sorry to hear that. My daughter just turned 21 and I've worried about her well being every day of her life. Sorry to hear you had to live a parents greatest fear.
More on Whitney...

i guess that if some of you heartless jag-offs had the pleasure of paying the deceased woman to suck your dicks, you'd be a little more sympathetic - then her problems, substance abuse or otherwise would be the understandable or excusable, so long as it was a bare-back bj, of course.......... All life is sacred. Loss of life is loss of life, and premature loss of life is always sad and/or disappointing, be it a millionaire with a drug problem or a coked-out SW who danced into traffic.

First off I dont pay anyone to suck my dick, and not crying over someone who knowing and purposfully ingested items legal or illegal on a continuing basis even after having serveral close calls is your definition of heartless then your the one with issues. I save my heart and compassion for the 23 year old who has never smoked a day but gets lung cancer, or the 6 month old child who gets a brain tumor or the 6 year old who can no longer walk because they have muscular Dystrophy. These are the people whom have done nothing to deserve what is happening to them that get my sympathy and compassion. You say all life is sacred, your right it is, but why should I care about the loss of someones life who didn't see their own life as sacred. Is it a shame that a one time beautiful and talented woman is gone, yes its a shame, but not deserving of sympathy.

I wanted this be a tribute to Whitney and not the morality of life and death and who deserves anyone's sympathy. Please Mods shut this down thanks
