There has to more to this story cause I believe Gdl is a nice person and has nt ever been rude or anything to me in chat but an awesome person. If he gave you alot of money and you could afford a cab then why be upset at least it wasnt on the side of the road in the dark.

I totally believe that GDLMAN took the gentleman's way out of a situation he was not enjoying. I have spoke with GDLMAN many times and am a regular in chat. Not once have I observed him to behave in a way that was disrespectful to a lady. In fact, he is one of the nicest people I've met on Eccie.
He is probably too much of a gentleman to even comment in his own self defense on a thread that imho shouldn't have been posted.
The man left you with lots of money you say? He did not leave you stranded. You have not been honest about the situation from the start only trying to smear GDLMAN's reputation.
I do not think one iota less of GDLMAN, in fact, the post only makes me think more highly of him, it is more than easy to tell what actually happened. If he was any less than the gentleman he is he would have just left you there with no money. However, this is not the case. It was probably worth it to spend the money to get out of a less than pleasant date honorably than continue to endure the company of someone who had obviously become unbearable ..
