Been married for over 25 years and she has been bitching for me to quit since that day after we got married.
but as of today I have not had a smoke for 12 days, with the patch, Halls Vitamin C Drops and Straws Cut to cigerette size.

You need social support. I think it helps if you have a "buddy" with whom to quit--someone to share the misery and triumphs with you.

Also, you need to link a reward or positive stimulus to your continued success. I'd take the money you save on cigs and start a fund. Every time the fun gets up to $150 or so, go get yourself a lolli from one of our lovely local ladies.
