The issue of lighting during sessions

So I was sitting back daydreaming about a desired role play with a certain provider. I come up with many and this one in particular has a theme but can be associated with many scenarios. "Fucking mysteriously in a dark alley" or "the ben rothelesbuerger" which is pretty much fucking a stranger in a club bathroom. all in all, it calls for the engaging of "stand up" sex in one spot - the bathroom, with the lights off.
I then came to think of the many times during sessions, mostly with BP chicks diong it for the first time. They would insist on having either that one lamp still on in the hotel room or the TV. Arrgh!! The TV is the one that really annoys me because I'm really not interested in seeing some sindicated show on TNT while I'm getting it on.

Shit, I first learned about that african women's detective mini series with Jill Scott showing on either hbo or showtime while laying on a bed getting a BJ.

Providers always turn off all the lights as soon as I start to get undressed... some wear blindfolds after they turn the lights off... |

I think candlelight sets a nice tone, the flickering shadows on the wall erotic. You can put out several of the "real" ones or the battery operated imitations, be unobtrusive but still have enough light to "inspect' and not trip over his discarded shoes.
Even in a dark alley or the bathroom at a club you'll have some residual light. The last person I saw who wanted total darkness also wanted me to lie completely still, not make a sound, and breathe shallow. He was hoping I'd sit in a cold tub of water first to cool my skin, but I drew the line at that. I think I was a sheet and a slab away from a bad horror movie necrophilia scene.

I like the room to be dim. But always ask my guests what their preference is. As far as T.V. I admit, I usually leave it on, for background noise .... sometimes things could get a little loud! And most of the time, walls in hotels are super thin. We don't need nosey neighbors knowing whats going on!! Now, you could always ask to turn it off and I will happily do so, after-all this is your time and I want to make sure everything is to your liking so I could have you back again : ) When the t.v. is off though I like to maybe turn on the radio or we'll just have to keep our voices down

If you are in a notel, do you really think your neighbors are there for the contintental breakfast, turndown service, and fine Frnech soap? I wouldn't mind the radio being on, but my goal would still be for the neighbors to know exactly how much fun we were having (especially you).

Call me kinky, but I kind of like the idea that the neighbors are hearing us - and wishing that they WERE us. Besides, I'm not a quiet gal, anyway, and it takes too much conscious thought for me to hush up. If I'm not making any noise, I'm just not having a good time. Call me selfish, too, as I DO want to have a good time!Quote:

I am warming up to you, Fancy... My goal is always to get a standing ovation when I walk to the truck afterwards.

I've had the opposite problem. I like to be able to see the lovely lady I'm with, but they tend to want to do it in the dark.
I'm always a little suspicious they're worried about their own appearance, and don't want to be seen too well. Or they have something to hide.

Lights on! All lights on. Hey, I admire the composite parts of the providers and I want them visible and etched in memory.
No TV unless it's porn in notel. I like tunes -- hiphop and hop-on.

This may fall on deaf ears but. . .
If the lighting is a concern for you pick up a few candles. I have been doing this for a few decades and I am always refining my hobby "go bag" of tricks. That's right. . .incall. . .outcall. . .I have a bag packed with all the obvious needs. This means you are almost always prepared for things and you look like you belong (especially in the lobby of an incall) when you stride confidently with that overnight bag over your shoulder right past the desk clerk. Here is some of what you might find in Anon's Bag:

 1) Extra condoms (magnums and pollys depending on the playing we are doing--even flavored ones just in case I screw up and my research fails to protect me from the lurking evil of the CBJ--at least if it is flavored she will do it a bit longer.

 2) Toiletries--always use the same stuff--never rely on hotel stuff--especially if you have an SO.

 3) Dark chocolate, strawberries and Asti--moan and complain all you want about all white envelopes being equal, small touches like this ALWAYS make a big difference. It especially blows their doors off if you come to an incall better prepared than most outcalls.

 4) Grape Seed Oil--click the GSO2 link in my sig for more information on this

 5) Ipod and speaker set with a couple of different playlists--all about an hour (easy way to measure time without looking at a clock)--for a variety of tastes and moods. If there is a television on, I turn it off, if it gets turned back on, I pack up everything including the white envelope and spend my time with someone that wants a real GFE/BFE.

 6) Spare change of clothes AND a towel. You never know when this comes in handy.

 7) Candles--they sell these cool little tins so they can be reused and they don't break or leak the scent when you don't want them to.

This is all in my hobby go bag and in my car.

 Semper Paratuis!

There is more than this. . .but it came to mind when I read this thread and thought--I need to buy a new candle for my bag!
