Romney admits that he will only do an average job bringing down the UE rate?
Ok for all you guys who are hammering Obama on UE- Romney admitted that if elected by the end of his 1st term he would have UE rate to 6% or lower.
However, there's one major flaw with that statement the CBO and economist have stated that the UE rate will be at least 6% regardless of what policies are in effect or whose in office. So therefore Romney is admitting that as President he will only meet expectations- so if Romney is running on the economy and he has admitted that he will have only moved the UE rate by 2% in 4 years and the CBO and top economist have stated that it will be at 6% regardless by 2016 and 5.5% by 2017 than why even bother to vote for Romney??????

You assume, of course, that Obama won't screw things up even further. Others are not that confident.

looks like the economy is moving the right direction albeit slowly- if Obama screwed things up than we would be in a Depression- we were in a recession when Obama took office- if he screwed it up and it got worst it would have been a Depression and the average voter knows that- that's why Romney is toast.
I wonder what the UE rate would would be had the Repugs passed at least one of his jobs bills.

But.... Didn't Obama promise eu cut in half? Or was that the debt?
Look, in any even guys your fiddle is a tad out of tune. Obama hasn't done anything he promised. Has he? I do really want to know.
And Romney BETTER come through or his own party will roast him alive.

I suppose what Ron White says is true; "you can't fix stupid". The country laughingly gave George W and the GOP the eight year opportunity to completely tank the economy and then expected Obama to pull a Bill Clinton in four; two with a Republican congress. Anybody see any real intelligence in that?

How many more jobs would we have if Obama hadn't killed the Keystone pipeline? Or if he hadn't pissed away billions on firms like Solyndra or Fisker? And how were those investments Keynseian (demand side)? How is it good policy for the fed to invest our money in a firm that produces something that's too expensive for the average american to buy even in a good economy?
Democratic strategist Doug Schoen today suggested Obama should go to the DNC next week and say essentially, "I screwed up. I shoulda enacted Bowles/Simpson."
And daty/o, if you think the GOP are soley responsible for this recession you're proving Ron White correct.

difference being the everlasting Bush effect he left behind that haunts this country .. if applicable to the context of the thread ... which is in most every case mentionable.

Ya but the left just said yesterday it was ok to take stuff out of context if it gets your point across. So go ahead and just forget about little things like actual context.

No, what I'm saying is that if the captain of the Titanic had handed everyone a bucket and said "bail", I wouldn't be blaming them, after the fact, for not using big enough buckets.
