The War on Drugs: Because Prohibition Worked So Well ...

			Excellent piece by John Stossel.
 From the article:

When the public is this divided about an issue, it's best left to voluntary social pressure instead of legal enforcement. That's how most Americans decide whether to drink alcohol or go to church every week. Private voluntary social networks have their own ways of punishing bad behavior and send more nuanced messages about what's unacceptable. Government's one-size-fits-all rules don't improve on that.

You want to reduce the size of government, cut government spending, increase revenue to the Treasury, then let's end this ridiculous war on drugs.

All drugs should be legal. If you hurt someone because you were on drugs then the book gets thrown at you. If you can't have a little fun then put it down, that's on u.
Talk about a new industry! Home grown and shipped everywhere.

The left is nowhere near legalizing certain things. Shoot, I'd even consider voting for him if Obama made them legal.

pretty much pisses me off to see LE searching in helos for hours at a time and usually find nothing or real small patches of weed ..
I know what it costs to keep a chopper in the air for 1 hour, and a small dope patch or two wont make a dent in the operations cost .. and we pay for it.
 grrrrrrrrrr

saw a program about growing and using legally in Cali .. to do either you need a script from a Dr.
saw several "patients" (cough cough) go through their Dr visit ... this 1 Dr had written over 700 scrpits this year and declined less than 10 ... lol

apparently if your shoe is untied youre a card carrying dope grower and smoker, all legal and everything ..

the second half of that program showed a supplier with a corner shop that was standing room only at the cash register ... they even has express home delivery for a fee ... sinck. This poor bastard evidently had been selling bud hand over fist and somehow forgot to pay the $1 million dollar IRS bill Uncle Sam sent him ... D'OOOOH.

apparently he tested his inventory alot

Barack "Chom Gang" Obama ordered the crackdown on the medical marijuana dispensaries in CA.His administration also ordered the shutting down of Internet gaming sites in the USA.

Where is your liberal Messiah now? Trying to take other people's money to your applause. You ask so little from Dear Leader.

Yeah, you bring up legalization of drugs, you quickly see just how much Mitt and the gang are fans of free markets.
