Why are progressives so racist and messed up?

Mia Love is on track to be the first black, female, Morman Congresswoman from Utah or the US. She is a first generation American whose parents came from Haiti. So what happens when she challenges the democrat template? She gets hate mail, nasty, disgusting, racist, sexist hate mail. She is getting the treatment from those lovely, caring democrats for daring to think for herself. Our own local Congressman Emmanual Cleaver publicly said that if you don't vote for Obama then you should turn in your skin color. Throwing the race card? How about a whole deck of racist jokers?

Progressives use the poor and minority groups as a power base; that means, useful idiots. Providing social welfare programs, for able bodied people, is like prescribing morphine for someone who doesn't need it. It's highly addictive and it destroys the user; it does create extremely loyal patients for the doctor.

The Democrats know that, if they can get people dependent on government handouts, they will own their vote for life. The black vote was purchased, with social welfare programs, started under LBJ in the 60's. Prior to the massive growth of welfare programs, most blacks voted Republican. Martin Luther King was a registered Republican.

Progressives, hold the poor in comtempt. Democrats have as much respect for poor people as a pusher does for the junkies he sells to.

If progressives actually wanted what was best for the poor, they would encourage people to be self reliant; they do the opposite.

Let's not drag MLK into this. This proves nothing. Times are different. The former anti-slavery party is now the official party of the KKK.

There is no Party not guilty of that. Why are you not talking about all the poor Bible Belt Republicans STILL dependent on social welfare programs but will only vote Republican because they feel White is right. They know nothing of the issues, and they pass with these people on primarily moral issues.

Tiffany can you cite that. The last known Klansman in the Senate was democrat Robert K. Byrd. The KKK was started by southern democrats who opposed reconstruction and freedmen voting. Freedwomen didn't vote. Samething for chain gangs. They were organized in the south for the purpose of accessing free labor among black men. Shouldn't have to say this but considering the audience... chain gangs were around before the Civil War but they were not organized as they were in the south post Civil War. I read about one case where a man served 20 years on a 30 day sentence. He stole some food, got caught, and was sentence. When his time was up he couldn't pay for his food so he got 30 more days. He never did pay for his food.

If you are black and you don’t vote, you do not deserve the color of your skin. That’s at least how Congressional Black Caucus head Rep. Emanuel Cleaver (D-MO) put it during a recent speech on voting rights.
After explaining the struggles blacks had to go through to get the right to vote, Cleaver launched into a tirade against those who decide not to exercise it

You know better than that Munchie, it wasn't a quote. You see if I had put two little hash marks at both ends then that would imply that he said those exact words but I didn't do that. So I was, in fact, paraphrasing what Cleaver said.

As for Mia Love, I liked her candidacy before I ever saw her. I read her stand on the issues of the day before the first time she appeared on Fox News. I wonder why she has not appeared on any other network news show? Racism??? Just asking the question.
