Every time there is an election, the people inhale the "hope" drug.........hoping for better

Democrats, Republicans, same crap, different name. If McCain was in office, things wouldn't be any better or different, except Fox News would praise him day in and day out. When people start voting for alternate candidates, when people demand term limits in congress, when people demand lobbyists to stop bribing politicians, when people stop listening to the BS fed by the media (including Fox News my dear right wingers) and become less ignorant to understand basic economics and politics, when corporations aren't allowed to fund political campaign at all (no loopholes), when candidates aren't the elite (right wing and left wing elites, yes, they do exist in the right wing too even if you don't accept it or simply believe what Beck and Hannity tell you), then we have a chance for a better country, in the meantime both parties are running us to the ground.

Obama is the exact opposite of Mandela. The un-Mandela. Got no Mandela in him, no Elvis, no John Paul II.

But he's full of Mugabe. An evil blend of Mugabe, Mussolini, Michael J. Fox, and Barney Fife. Especially Barney Fife since his poll numbers have crashed.

I'm actually Libertarian but that leaves us pissing into the wind when it comes to elections. I can't make a case for Obama YET but at least he's trying. "w" was a narcissistic a-hole who did NOTHING for this country. Best president we've had since Eisenhower was Bill Clinton...he got rid of the federal deficit left to him by Reagan/Bush and managed the Serbian war "difficulty". I know he got a BJ from an intern but he did his damn job well.

Rush-In-Limbo? Come on people...look at how he actually lives his own life.
Glenn Beck? He'll say anything for money...and he's stated that.

Why do upstanding middle-class Americans continue to support Republican A-holes who p*** and s*** on them all the time in order to advance themselves? My entire extended family is staunch Republican and the R's have done nothing for any of them.

We are never going to have a meeting of the minds on a Board discussion so I'm reluctant to post this but please people: Obama is black and he's liberal but he's not the Antichrist. Love your country...it's flawed but it's the best experiment going.

I hate politicians. To the extent I'm a good person I'm libertarian, the rest is anarchist.

That said, I'm a 4 sigma guy, and I'm pretty sure Obama is smarter. Hate him if you want, but don't underestimate him.
