Default Tis the season I guess

Ladies I got ripped off tonight. Not hurt, just angry. Ladies I have his information, please PM for info.

I've always felt that counting the money was tacky, but twice burned, I don't care how tacky it is anymore.

Stacy,

Sorry that happened to you doll. I honestly don't think its tacky to count the money upfront. It keeps this type of stuff from happening. If you can do it in private beforehand, great, if not...I'm sure most guys would understand.

The only ones who wouldn't are the ones who try to scam us.

I'm really sorry to hear this happened to you. I think it is perfectly OK for a provider to count the money. It protects both parties. As long as the appointment does not seem mechanical or businesslike throughout I sure don't mind the business part being businesslike. In fact I prefer it.

I am not sticking up for the client but, is there any chance he just miss counted? It has happened to me before.
FWIW... I use the biggest denominations and least amount of bills I can.

No, there is no chance he miscounted, because I got $0.00 from him. He pulled the "I left my wallet in the car" routine. (This was at the end of our meeting, not the beginning. I truly do abhor sticking my hand out the instant a gentleman walks through the door, but I will grit my teeth and get over it from now on). When he told me he'd left his wallet in the car, I got dressed like the building was on fire, and told him I'd go with him to his car. He was stammering about leaving his ID while he went down to get his wallet. So I'm dressed, and down to the street we go, at which point he 'discovers' he lost his keys. So he hands me the ID he was in such a hurry to offer me while inside, promises to bring the donation with him when he comes to retrieve his vehicle and card back.

Sure fella, I am SO naive, that I am going to believe you when you tell me that you left both your wallet and your keys in your car - but remembered to bring your trusty state ID card with you. The address on which, does not match the address he had provided me.

But no, there is absolutely no possible way this was a mistake. This incident ocurred at 3 pm this afternoon, and it is now 10:30 pm. I am pretty sure he's had plenty of time to get his keys and come back

Looks to me he tried to scam you but I think he will come back as you already got his ID . I thought providers take the denominations at the starting of the appointment itself.

My preference has always been to get the donation upfront, but at the same time, I don't like having to ask for it. It just makes me very uncomfortable to have to ask the gentleman to take care of business. Both because in my opinion it destroys the fantasy even before it starts, and from a security aspect. There just shouldn't be ANY mention in my opinion of $$. The ideal scenario is for him to just lay it in plain view then excuse himself to the bathroom. In the short time it takes him to wash his hands, it will be counted and out of sight as though it were never there. But if he doesn't offer it himself, my policy has always been to take care of the business end after the date, when we are wrapping things up. It just feels more comfortable that way for me.

But alas, one rotten apple is going to spoil it for everyone else. Lesson learned and from now on, the donation will be squared away before the fireworks begin.

Yah I never want to mention it but then I had TWO in a row that forgot/pulled the wrong wad out of pocket and it had to be fixed later. Which, I want to stress, it was. But now, if it is not done in the first 10 mins I say something. I was suuuuuper fucking lucky that the two times it happened it was an actual honest mistake but I refuse to take that risk again.

Then they wonder why ladies ask for references.

Stacy, I hope the guy makes it up to you, but your gut instinct is probably right on this. Sorry it happened to you. I have changed pants at the last minute and left the donation at home, so I know it happens. I have even had it happen on a first date. That is REAL embarrassing. I, like you, prefer to wait until the end of the visit, but am never offended if the lady requests it up front.

I think waiting til the end of the session is nice, but I'm certainly not offended with the idea of getting the business done in advance so the fun can be more care free by everybody.

Of course if the people don't know each other very well trust could be a problem for both sides.

This is an elegant solution, I like it!
