I’m curious. I guess I can understand the Neanderthal anti gay historians and bigotry on the part of some. Ignorance and hatred abound in our society and it’s duddenly become acceptable in the past two years to voice it again.

But apart from that, why is it important to label the original poster as “gay” or “not gay”. It seems obvious that there is a very wide range of human sexual behavior and that most of us find a relative narrow band of that desireable. Others enjoy a bit wider slice. I would say that gay is a standard label for a make who exclusively, or almost exclusively enjoys sex with men. The original poster doesn’t seem to be seeking that at all. He seems to have, at most, a mild bi-sexual curriosity. But why does it seem so important to so many to label him and do so inaccurately?

Not my cup of tea at all, but I wish him the best, and don’t feel any compulsion to label the behavior.
